I applied for a couple of charity jobs but I haven't been given any.0

I see MF have loaded a load of checking WIFI hot spots in various locations. Looks quite a 'faff' for the fee and potential issues locating the hot spot spring to mind. Wonder if they will fly off the shelves....
They are actually not that bad, 10 mins top to complete everything, and the fee has gone up!0 -
I received email from Bare offering to do another workspace visit but this one is a little bit too far - in Mumbai, India and must be performed in the local language but the questionnare must be completed in English. So tempting but I think I will pass this one!0

Perhaps this video should be added to the OP as a more realistic setting for potential mystery shoppers with warning the earnings featured in the guardian are the exception. and its from martins TV show too

quick question mser's if I may? if a company pays say 25p a mile mileage, for tax purposes, can I still claim 45p a mile as an expense for HMRC (as long as I have included my 25p a mile in with the fee?)0

Yes, as long as can either show a profit or a good reason for making a loss. I class it as a help towards the costs of doing a job not the whole amount, I almost always end up with a profit for the job,
I tend to separate out any additional payments like travel and bonus payments on my spreadsheet just to make it clear what has happened, remember you can be asked about events that happened five years ago in an audit, keeping your different streams of income separate is a good reminder.0 -
