TOP REMINDERS THIS MONTH!
· Please note we are still experiencing some delays in processing payments this month (due to system maintenance (8th) and public holiday (10th). Payment for all assignments completed in January will be processed in this week. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I noticed this too.... System maintenance and public holidays aren't to blame for a payment which was due 28th Feb latest. It has now moved to 13-19th when I was told latest 13th.... It's b*****ks although those in my area will benefit coz I've sacked them now. I have many better and professional agencies than these chumps0 -

I've not done any work for them this month. There's plenty in my area that have very few visits left. I'm not going out of my way to do any work for them.
I did two jobs for Tern at the weekend I've been sent an email today to say that payment has been processed what a great company to work for.0 -
Has 'Chicken' been removed from Gap?
I can't find any assignments, and their icon is also missing from the orientation section of the Gap site.0 -
Is it just me that doesnt expect instant payment on jobs ?
while its nice when it happens, even a few weeks but this is a business to business transaction and at that is rarely instant / quick payments
most of my jobs are paid on the last working day of the following month, that can mean that for jobs at the start of the month its 2 months/ 8-9 weeks before payment.. coupled with other jobs paying at various times means a constant flow but if something is delayed annoying as it is, i deal with it as long as the company keeps me updated.
and people are closing accounts because they didnt get paid in 6 ? try looking at the bigger picture, or sort your accounts cashflow0 -
I just tried to pick up an outdoor shop with MF. I read the brief very carefully, several times, but could not pass the accreditation. I know I wasn't inputting anything wrong. After several attempts, it just screened me out and now it's disappeared from my jobs list. Rather annoying, I'm no idiot and I genuinely don't know what I was putting wrong each time. Before anyone asks, yes I read the questions very carefully. That's the first time it's happened. Is it worth contacting the coordinator via another similar assignment?
Ironically, I did the same with the car job I was asking all the opinions on!0 -
I'm seeing an RA payment into my account tomorrow, which has to be a station job from the beginning of Feb, as that's the only one I have pending.0

I'm with you on that. I get irritated when payments aren't paid when promised (yes, Gapbuster, I'm talking about you), and I really appreciate jobs with a swift reimbursment - like some of the shoe shop jobs with 3 figure purchase and post scenarios. But businesses mostly do monthly pay runs, which is not unreasonable. Lord knows kit can be worse out there with some big companies taking 3 months to pay.
Did you know, when Virgin Records started they didn't pay anyone until they were threatened with court action - apart from the garage that serviced all their cars. That's how the rich get rich - screw the little guy.0 -

I get what you are saying about cashflow, and understand that different people will have different ideas on what is reasonable, but you are a long way out with your timescales. We're talking payments for January, so from the beginning of the month until the 19th of March is more like 11 weeks than 6.0
