Which company is AQ? Saw a post about it on the Alerts thread.

It's AQ Services. You can find them here:

Some have mentioned problems with them, but search the previous messages here for more on that.

I can't remember ever having a query from them, I thought they were one of the more forgiving ones.

Having seen the system they use for proofreading it really is no wonder. :-)

I always thought Shannon was a lass with a deep voice. Now I'm utterly confused.

Shannon is indeed a man. I made the mistake of sending chocolates to "Miss Shannon" at TNS about a year ago. Doh! Poor guy must have been so embarrassed!

Just nipping back to remind you all that it's almost time for the elections. If you want to work as a poll clerk / postal vote opener / presiding officer, contact your local authority and ask if they are looking for people to work at the elections. I've just had my letter through asking for my availability and it did say to let friends/family know to show their interest. I understand most of you live miles away, but maybe your local authority are also on the prowl. A quick phone call won't hurt will it. The pay is about £150 before tax for the poll clerk position (it's a long day but it's very quiet most of the time) and about £7 per hour for opening postal votes, so if anyone wants a change from filling reports, go go go!

Hope you are all keeping well, and are all earning shed loads of money ;)

I just KNEW you'd appear to confirm this - you know everyone :D

Thanks for the heads up on the election work. I emailed my local council last week on spec but haven't heard anything back. I'll maybe give them a call on Monday!

The mystery is solved. Thank you! I can hear whitelabel saying,'I told you so!' ;)
  • Lol question is why you were sending the allocators chocolates in the first place!
