  • Hello

I am after some information if known. I have received a survey invite where I will receive 6 - 10 pieces of mail per week for about 5 weeks and I have to check each against pictures and record details etc.

To record each piece each day would naturally take some time and the reward is stated as a £5 voucher after completing all the weeks surveys for all post. This seems a lot of effort for £5 voucher. I was under the impression that previous individuals completing surveys were given stamps to use as an incentive to fill in a return each day. My question is has that finished now and is the current survey just the £5 at the end of the project?

Many thanks for any information :)

I have had the one where you check unsolicited post for 3 weeks, and get a shopping voucher at the end. It takes next to no time.
There is a different more long term thing they do where you receive and post items in the mail, most days, and it goes on for months. For that you get paid in stamps, but it does take longer as you have to post stuff in certain timeframes.

Doing a wardrobe update, any male video shoppers found any good new clothing for concealing the lens, other than the usual?

Motorbike jacket - can't beat it.

However, you do have to ask yourself if wearing leather trousers to work is a step past dedication to duty. ;)
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

I always thought Shannon was a lass with a deep voice. Now I'm utterly confused.

Worried now I may have tried chatting him up in the past

:rotfl: have to admit, having never spoken to Shannon, I just assumed she was female, after all, isn't Shannon a female name?

May draw attention itself in high end car dealer, arriving by car though....

I did first wonder the name but according to wiki...

Shannon ("wise river") is an Irish unisex name, Anglicised from Sionainn. Alternative spellings include Shannen, Shanon, Shannan, Seanan, and Siannon. The variant Shanna is an Anglicisation of Sionna ("possessor of wisdom").

Whitelable, I know it sounds weird but I googled 'Shannon' name last night as well
I suppose we could still wonder and it does not really matter unless one of us could ask next time the person in question directly but how you would ask??!

    Back to work.:)

In a previous life, I once made a call and the phone was picked up by, what to me was, a very feminine voice.

I addressed them as ma'am but was immediately informed it was, sir. Awkward or what? Didn't know what to say to the officer as, "Do you know sir, you've got a right girly voice" may have come across as a little insubordinate. So after a very quick, "Sorry", I just carried on with the conversation :o

Yeah, getting out of the car in full bike gear always looks a bit weird. Could try telling them it's fancy dress and you've come as The Stig? :D

If you do a Vauxhall garage, make sure you ask if a rollcage is an optional extra on the Astra.
