That brief, however, does include a photo of the required receipt though which shows an itemised purchase, I'm afraid credit/debit card receipts are not acceptable - MF may let you revisit.
Considering i'm new to this and that was my very first visit, you would have thought they'd make it clear. I'm not a mind reader after all.0 -

Unfortunately in this line of work you have to be. MF actually have pretty clear briefs compared to some.0 -
Is just me but are ESA rates going south? I have just seen a travel agent job which is the price of their frozen shops. I know which one I would pick out of choice...0

Some travel agents seem to be paying more than others, and the brief is exactly the same. It was the same with bank jobs too and the higher priced ones aren't in difficult or unpopular locations, not sure how they work their fees are.
The travel agent shops do look very straightforward, especially when you compare the fee for that to the fee for the crisp crushing.0 -
The trouble with the travel agents jobs, all of them not just ESA, is the potential time they take.0

AlwaysWondering wrote: »Hi all,
I'm new here and did my first mystery shop.
I did a shop for MF at a certain cafe (H & H) inside a big well know supermarket. MF wanted a photo of the receipt which I sent to them but now they're saying they want an itemised receipt and I didn't receive one of those. I took the receipt they gave me and put it straight into my purse for safe keeping.
Has anyone else done this mystery shop before and did you receive an itemised bill because now it looks like I may not get paid and I really could do with that money
Hi
I have not visited a cafe you mentioned, but the MF pubs assignments notes usually have this info:
'You must obtain an itemised receipt for your
purchases. If you are not given one unprompted,
then you must request one.
The only time an itemised receipt is not required
is for a ‘drinks-only’ visit.'
There are two options:
1)you could either argue and prove your point if there wasn't any information regarding obtaining the itemised receipt in your assignment notes. BUT it could be still a dead end (particularly with MF as they have to see what exactlly you ordered (soft drink/tea/hot meal)
2) Or just put this visit down to MS experience (I know it is hard but we all make mistakes and learn from them)0 -

And they tend to know you're a shopper the minute you ask for a business card. It's rare to find them on the table so that you can just help yourself. And ESA fees are indeed falling. I feel that MS'ing is going to die a death in the next year or so.
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work0 -
I've not done them for a while but had a moment of weakness last week and applied for a couple of TNS phone shops in a town I'll be visiting tomorrow. Thankfully, they've saved me from myself by still not allocating them, despite a due date of Saturday. :rotfl:0

Agree - a minimum of 30+ minute in the shop. Last Esa travel agent I did the agent wouldn't give me a business card as their contact details were on the enquiry form but had a "stewards enquiry from Esa on why there was no card. They did pay in the end. MF pay for this is even lower, would not even pay the petrol or car park in my local town and yet they still get snapped up.0 -
