Reminds me of a conversation I had at work once

I asked my mate "Have we got a new lad started?"
    "No, why"
"Who's the big fella with the beanie hat in the office"
    "Errrrr"
[as new lad walks into view]"Him"
    "That's my sister"

Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?
  • This afternoon I completed a food shop visit & open audit together (purchase, complaint, audit). While I was browsing the store with a shopping basket in my hand (stage 1), I overheard a store manager saying to the SAs that a mystery customer was coming to store today and telling them to keep their eyes on the ball all the time. I was literally 2 steps away from them. They completely ignored me at that point, while they went on to discussing store related things. Few minutes later, I was offered help and after finding the requested product, SAs kept asking me whether I needed anything else. You can imagine the rest of my visit. The look on their faces.... :). The thing is that the manager knew I was coming so they must have been told about the mystery visit.

    First beer job in weeks.

A Local Pub For Local People.

I was half expecting the MSC to ring them tomorrow to find out what happened to their report for them to be told, "We didn't burn her."

Looking back, I should have done but at that time I just got on with my audit.

LOL, I love the local pub for local people. I once did a MF bookies that was just that, a local bookies for local people. Got some right proper funny looks and it took me ages to get served, the locals just kept butting in ahead of me

Well had the usual weekly email from ESA when they have loads of jobs they can't shift asking me for some days next week.

I have responded in the past and not get anything, wondering if others have got anything from ESA via this route and whether you can pick and chose or is it hobsons choice?

Don't fancy what's on the board at the moment, crushed crisps, death and travel agents on low fees and reckon one would get a shed load of these...

Ignored their email last week asking for availability and they called me this week anyway, offered me some of the bank jobs and I managed to negotiate a good premium on top. If I'd have sent my availability I'm not sure I would have got the same deal.
