Though for the first few months, the best hunters are patient creatures....

Loads of work around at end of month at premium rates if you can hang on. I am away next week so cut off from MS work last weekend as no wish to deal with the banal queries from MF proof reader whilst on hols. Good to see that an audit of certain ethical grocer has trippled its rate - bet it's not there for long.

I anyone else finding GfK a recent dead loss? Screen-upon-screen of bank jobs - all of which say in the notes that you must not be self-employed. Oh and those catering ones which never seem to go, probably because they require a right old faff for the fee involved.

GFK is my mainstay and I've had plenty of work from them this month- small supermarket audits and post office jobs. Not been any bank work at all for 2-3 months now. I wish I saw screen after screen of jobs, they've never had a full page in all the time I've been signed up to them, round here! lol

Does anyone know if you have to have an exact postcode match for the ESA drop address jobs? I can't get one allocated to me, says I'm not in the right area even though the first part of my postcode matches. I tried emailing them, to no response....

I've picked up plenty of work from them over the past few months, and not one bank or catering job.

Have also just noticed their payment is now in the bank.

The death jobs are also not shifting either. Read one scenario and no surprise they have not been picked up. Too close to home and brief needs to be rethought IMHO.

Plenty of these jobs where I live, I'm just not that happy with the brief either.

There have been no jobs at all on my Gfk board for the past three days!
  • Absolutely nothing on mine this week, apart from bank jobs which I cannot do, due to self-employment clause. And guess what? They're not moving. Bit like the beds jobs really. Oh, and the beer.

We're all self employed. Ignore it. It's a silly clause for mystery shoppers who are by definition self employed. You are allowed to lie when you present your secenario to the bank by saying you have a part time job doing something even if you don't really. Whenever I do them I even use a completely made up name. There's one on mine saying I should have a partner and kids. Just make them up.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Should you do that for the ones where there is a credit check?
