I'm realising that one of the companies has a very different idea of what 'easy' means than me. Go into a small shop, covertly check if they have 10s of products (which, if they do, will all be behind the counter). All for 22p*. Perhaps by 'easy' they mean, does not require wordy report? No wonder they are having problems filling them. I'm occaisionally prepared to make an idiot of myself, but not for that money!
*not actual fee.
My issue with that job was remembering all the items to check for, the most I've audited covertly is 12 items and in the end with that one I felt like I was playing 'Grandma went to market and in her basket she had....' I could have a list on evernote but in a small shop that would look epically dodgy.0 -
Some folk on here scoff at the fees offered for GAP jobs, I think they are ok and they provide a healthy chunk of my monthly pay once the premiums roll in,
I'm with you on the GAP jobs, I've just worked out my average premium for them and, over 75 jobs, it comes at at 3 times their normal fee. For the amount of work, (I accept you can get a timing confirmation e-mail after nearly every job) and simple on line forms to complete, I love 'em.
I may whinge about them sometimes but I know that when they eventually part company with me, I'll miss their premiums.0 -

That's what I reckoned, plus I got the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the products were alcoholic, and hence behind the counter.
I don't mind this sort of job usually IF they also give a reimbursement to make you look more like a genuine shopper. Or the fee is big enough that don't mind buying a couple of wee things. I'm just not tempted enough by the fee on this - it's another of those horses for courses.
Anyone done any of them?0 -
I'm still quite new to all of this but do jobs normally start drying up at this time of the month?:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0

Typically in a 5 week month yep, the forth week is pretty quiet for new job releases, also a bank holiday next week stops some jobs. I'm keeping busy this week clearing up some out of the way jobs for a decent premium and some nice phone call jobs.
Last year August was pretty quiet for me but this year it has gone mental for some reason.0 -
is that post on the alerts an error by the poster ?0

I am possibly being dim here, but the last two posts on the alert thread have completely thrown me.

I've not been MSing for too long but I've found that I do most of my work in the first 2 to 3 weeks of the month.
What I've also found is that the last 10 days or so of the month, you can pick up some good premiums for work that hasn't yet been completed but needs to be done in that month.0
