There is no such thing (and there never will be) as minimum wage for those who are self employed.

I know, but am shocked as to how low people will go in the MS world

I'd love someone to come on here and justify why they take these poorly paying jobs, you are doing all of the serious MS'ers out of a decent wage for your miniscule short term gain.

My brother does all manner of these jobs, often he does them for the free food so he'd have done it without a fee as it saves him buying his own lunch. Everyone has different circumstances, and by doing the low paid jobs over the years he seems to be given endless jobs which pay more.

sad, thanks for showing us how the fees have steadily been eroded.

Strangely enough they contacted me today to inform me that I could redo the Golden Arches test which I failed by 1 mark a couple of months back. Can't really be bothered TBH as only limited work in my area and rates are not exactly much incentive.

Two day before I could not log in I was offered the chance to retake a certain red fast food outlet as I failed that by a couple of marks. It would be funny though if they run out of people in my area and can't get anyone to complete the visits. When I could log in I did notice a lot of the jobs did hang around for a while.

And those are the jobs to avoid, but on Sunday I did 12 Retail Maxim jobs and took a MF low fee lunch to keep the expenses low, people on the whole don't do MF jobs to get rich, they are not that type of company but they are useful to slip in to a nice little circuit.

If you are relying on MF to bring in the fees then you need to re-read the first page of this thread, if you are as I suspect a lot more experienced you should know the above by now.

It's the distinction between those people who are doing it for extra income and those who are doing it for the experience, so inevitably some people aren't worried about the fees. As you probably know one of the restaurant mystery shopping companies doesn't even tend to pay fees at all.

At first I was appalled by the MF lowcost food shop's fee but then realised that I drive past it every other day so now do it on occasion to stock up on fruit. The report takes minutes and the way I see it I've got some free fruit without going out of way and with not much effort.

Anyone reading the last couple of pages would think we were being "entertained" by a spot of multi user ID trolling.

Why do people not understand MFer’s? They make no secret ofthe fact that they do not want “professional” shoppers, they want actualcustomers who would be generally going there anyway, and their fees reflectthis. Some would argue that it would be better to get a “professional” shoppersview of the store but in reality there is good and bad information in bothtypes of customers. Take the cheap lunch and don’t expect to earn anything outof the company, at the same time remember there are lots of people who takethese low paid jobs as it will probably be the first (and last) mystery shopthey have done.

So now the small blue fast supermarkets are gone - probably the first mystery shop I've ever did! Not the same though since the mileage allowance for these visits was removed without a word to shoppers a few years ago though!
Very sad about these especially as about 4 new ones have opened up in my locality so I was looking forward to a bumper autumn! Maybe they will come back though - the store sure needs its programme IMO.
The old red bank jobs have come back on gfk, lower fee, but still hope for programmes cycling round!
