MF's fees are something I have openly emailed them about on several occasions. For the time it takes to get to the store, the expense incurred in getting there, and for doing the report afterwards, I could sit at home and do a couple surveys for no expense.

It's a sorry state of affairs when tasks like these get snapped up.

Alas desperate people snap up everything and this then dilutes the fees offered. MS companies see how sad people are so will continue to reduce fees.

After emailing gap last weeks as to why I could not log in. I have had my redundancy notice today. :(

TBH it is no really great lose for a few fast food places and a couple of other companies. It did say I would be paid for the visit I had completed so that was good. As they say plenty more in the sea. I did not really like gap anyway as it did take a little while for them to reply to my emails (almost a week) and it is not helpful being able to call someone to get clarification straightaway before completing a job.

Just registered with a few more but some have no places at present so hopefully they will have soon.

Strangely enough they contacted me today to inform me that I could redo the Golden Arches test which I failed by 1 mark a couple of months back. Can't really be bothered TBH as only limited work in my area and rates are not exactly much incentive.

Totally agree - some of the better paid survey sites pay more and can do it from comfort of your own home.

I'd love someone to come on here and justify why they take these poorly paying jobs, you are doing all of the serious MS'ers out of a decent wage for your miniscule short term gain.

I took a food and drink job with MF and just about expected it to cover the cost of my meal with the reimbursement and fee. But when they paid me, the fee had mysteriously gone up a few pounds!

We partly took it for the free meal, as things were a bit tight that month. That may be why people take the low paying food and drink ones? ABA solely work on the premise that a free meal is enough of a reward.

What is so special about you, that people have to come on here and "justify" themselves to you?

I'm not special, but intrigued as to why someone would prostitute themselves to work for well under the minimum wage (yes I know being self employed the minimum wage which is a joke doesn't count)

You have two options, you take the work or you leave it, don't knock others for making the same judgement. There are plenty of other companies around that pay better, go work for them, I do.

I also do take the odd MF job for the free lunch or because as with tomorrows bookies, its next door to another place I'm shopping.

Yes you do have two options, but i'm aghast how people lower themselves to do jobs well under minimum wage. I work for other companies so hopefully these jobs stay well paid. R Maxim and GR are good companies:T

There is no such thing (and there never will be) as minimum wage for those who are self employed.
