Has anyone done one of the Bank Savings Enquiry jobs on ESA? Seems like a very nice fee and I'm tempted but I'm wondering whether there's a catch I'm not seeing? Is it just the length of the job and the potential for a return visit if you need to book an appointment that bumps it up so high? or is the report a real pain?

I did one - it took two visits and about one hour 20 mins for both visits + about an hour for the report. You would be lucky to get an appt straight off as the branch I visited you had to see a particular person for the review. The other faff was I had to wait a week for second appointment as their diary was busy.

That's what I reckoned, plus I got the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the products were alcoholic, and hence behind the counter.

I don't mind this sort of job usually IF they also give a reimbursement to make you look more like a genuine shopper. Or the fee is big enough that don't mind buying a couple of wee things. I'm just not tempted enough by the fee on this - it's another of those horses for courses.

    Anyone done any of them?

I did (if this is what I'm thinking of) - didn't worry about being too sneaky but just jotted down prices on a scrap of paper and gave the suggested excuse if asked. No problems at all :)

I anyone else finding GfK a recent dead loss? Screen-upon-screen of bank jobs - all of which say in the notes that you must not be self-employed. Oh and those catering ones which never seem to go, probably because they require a right old faff for the fee involved.

I've not done anything except postal jobs for them since 10th July.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

The death jobs are also not shifting either. Read one scenario and no surprise they have not been picked up. Too close to home and brief needs to be rethought IMHO.

ESA - in my area you could a day trip of 5/6 of them. However for obvious reasons your planned visit could be deferred.

I've not been MSing for too long but I've found that I do most of my work in the first 2 to 3 weeks of the month.

What I've also found is that the last 10 days or so of the month, you can pick up some good premiums for work that hasn't yet been completed but needs to be done in that month.

Though for the first few months, the best hunters are patient creatures....
