Boo, I'll persevere then. Thanks for checking. It's saying my email address isn't recognised. Strange. I'll give it one more go then head to bed and attempt it in the morning - it's been a long week!!0 -

Well I am always excited to see if I get the full floor show. :-D
I've several times noticed that during my visit they often go around offering free tea or coffee, or even sundaes to all guest, usually starting with me. I have noticed one restaurant where they actually do this all the time though, but that is in a particularly upscale neighbourhood though.0 -

It kind of defeats the purpose if they want to use mystery shopping to hear how good they are, rather than to hear how they should improve.
My thoughts exactly. I've definitely noticed I get more questions asked if I submit a report that highlights a shop's failings than if I submit a glowing report.0 -

Poor guy in front of me had to wait for my meal to be served before he had his. The crew member shouted gap quarter when serving me. I sat down to eat and had three people cleaning around me waiting for me to finish so they could take my tray.
Ive not done the report yet and not sure if I should be honest and say what actually happened. I couldn't get out of the place quick enough it was so uncomfortable.
Oh...that happened to me last year in my area. It was so uncomfortable. They watched me constantly, cleaned my table as I walked to it, then every time I looked up, someone was pointing or looking at me. The balloons person appeared and walked around giving them out, then a man came over and suggested desserts off their new range. A manager came to ask me and one table nearby if our food was good. When I went to the restroom I was immediately followed by a humming member of staff who polished mirrors. One then followed me to the car park. When I went to my next visit I saw a picture of my car and my description on the wall just inside the kitchen area. It put me off completely - I feel for you!

In regards to gap I report what I see, if I think they know who I am that's just my opinion (even though deep down you know!) I've been banned from certain restaurants for a period as they have got to know I'm the MS.
Just bought a new car so hopefully it will throw them a bit...
Floor shows are fun. I see it as all part of the process. They know what the triggers are. Not alot you can do. If Gap want something more honest as a snapshot of what they do then change the scenario. But then the measurables change so it's more difficult to compare and standardise.
I've downed tools for Christmas after a bit of work for Assosia and a couple of gap premiums that dropped into December. I have 16 days of no work form f/t job so I'm not gonna fill it with MS work!Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

You shouldn't worry about it. This is normal. The problems begin when they don't clock you and you report a lot of problems. They will challenge your report and, if it is the three arches establishment, Gap always take the restaurant's word. If you report a filthy, blocked toilet, which is very likely to happen if you are male and the restaurant is in a dubious area, the chances of being sacked are very high. Thus, with this attitude, you can't take these assignments too seriously.0 -
MF proofreaders and ESA allocators for me. SIGH. If you're not going to give me a hefty premium for braving the shops at this time of year you can take a hike!!!!!0
