I don't think there is any set payment date. Usually at the beginning of the month. They tend to pay for one client in one go and you may find you get a payment the day after for another client.

I've even had two payments on the same day from different clients. I had payments for pain visits today.

It's not just you. I asked the same question a few days ago. The answer seems to be when they feel like it.

Is anyone else being chased by proof readers with silly queries and by allocators who aren't willing to offer bonuses but want jobs doing immediately, or am I being singled out for special treatment.

Your half right I've had three proof reading queries from different companies this week, they're the first I've had in months, its driving me crackers.
Its bad enough being self employed this year and not getting a works Christmas party or a bonus, without all this crap.

Lol, I know exactly what you mean. My first self employed Xmas this year, gonna miss the parties. Never had a Xmas bonus before :-(

My Christmas bonus is usually an extra special present I buy myself as a treat, because I decide I deserve it :-)

Sometimes I wonder if MF have the same brief as I have a couple of queries that don't match the instructions recently. I can't be bothered to challenge as spent enough time on report. Don't do much for them as alot of their jobs round here are out in the sticks and fees don't cover the petrol.
