I'm just about done with MF- they have sent a 2nd threatening reminder, after I have already confirmed once. This was my response to them...

    Dear X,

I would like to register my disgust at the way you treat your shoppers. You have already made me confirm this assignment once and now you are asking for me to confirm it again and are threatening to remove it otherwise. I have had no response to the first complaint I made about this treatment.

What has happened to your trust in your shoppers? If I have accepted this assignment in the first place, it is because I intend to complete it. Asking for confirmation once is insulting enough, but TWICE! I would like an explanation. I have never failed to complete an assignment for you. Exactly what is your problem?

    Yours disgustedly,

I doubt they keep requesting confirmation just for the fun of it. I assume either this is a critical job that they need to have completed on that day or they are having a lot of trouble with people not doing jobs they have taken, or dropping them at the last minute or something.

You're right though, they should take your past record into account when deciding if and how often you need to confirm.

Are they actually asking you to confirm you're still doing it each time or just sending a reminder? For those jobs in certain areas I do get multiple 'reminders' but I don't recall ever being asked to confirm multiple times that I'm still doing the job. I got a bit annoyed the first time and sent an irate email but after that I've just ignored the emails and done the job as planned.

Also depends who the coordinator is, I currently have over 100 jobs allocated to me and get no hassles on them as the coordinator knows they are getting done, but every now and then a job pops in from a new coordinator or one that does not know you and the bombarding of emails starts. Not really any way around it until the coorninator gets a bit more comfatable with the jobs they are allocating and gets to know you and the way you work.

Another company to tick off the list. (Not sure why I even bothered to be honest). When the one company I do 99.9% of my work for gives no hassle at all...

    Good move.

From what I remember from a previous post, stage is one of the chosen ones who gets the MF jobs that are worth doing.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

No, not a supermarket a watery clothing store. If I'd known they were going to be like this I wouldn't have taken it! I won't be doing them again.

I don't mind reminders, those can just be deleted. But, no they actually want me to keep ringing or emailing them roughly every two days since I accepted the job, to 'confirm' that I still intend to do it!!!! They've emailed back and said they've passed my comments on to the coordinator for a reply.
