Its so sad what you're going through Ktflosspot. The contradictions from that local CPL are so frustrating. Surely they'll see sense soon.

Do you have any friends on the local paper. Get a journalist to phone the CPL to ask to cover the home coming of the siblings to Ktflosspot. Pics of CPL presenting kits to Ktflosspot. I'm sure you can interest local journalists with the kitty shower and the whole story. The pics will go down well with readers.

I also think it well worth you putting your case by email before the home visit so you are influencing the decision making process sooner rather than later.

1) You'll pay
2) You'll fence
3) If its OK for Magic & Mama then must be ok for other siblings
4) If its OK for alternative kittens offered by CPL then it must be OK for the siblings
5) CPL already promised to return siblings so all family can be together
6) You'll do whatever else they ask
7) You are generating lots of media attention/publicity with your kitty shower for the return of the siblings, fund raising for CPL

Sorry, Op: in a rush before work - can't read all through your thread. Is there any chance the kittens have already gone out to someone else for re-homing? Not that it would help you, but might explain the apparent contradictions in what you've been told...?

Thanks everyone x A lafy phoned last night and is coming round for a chat this afternoon. She was nice on the phone so keeping fingers crossed ! Will update later :-) Taking Magic for her check up this am but judging by the way she's bouncing about the room I presume she is fine lol

Also.....have you SEEN how many views this thread has received? CP needs good publicity, not bad.....I dont think they will want one rotten apple to spoil their local profile by snaffling these kittens.

Thanks so much Dimey and PaddyPaws101 :A Hopefully wont have to go down that route xxx Lady has been and gave me a load of nonsence about being in unsafe area blah blah blah , they apparently have no rehoming criteria for feral mamas which is why she is fine to be released from where she came ( as ~chameleon~ said ) I listened to her arguments and asked why they were called CATS protection ( as Mama is a cat ) and not cute baby kitten protection as if they deem us not safe why on earth would they put Mama in a dangerous environment ? Next I hit her ( not literally :rotfl:! ) with the emails & correspondence we have had regarding us taking them from day one , also asked about criteria for rehoming , managed to match most things apart from the safe bit , mentioned the fact it was safe enough for Mama (again) she didn't have an answer for that. Was getting a bit wound up , mentioned I had asked on tinternet for advice and she prickled lol , left her alone with this thread up on the laptop whilst I put the kettle on & now it seems we may be able to adapt our garden to be a safe environment after all :cool: However no promises yet but think I have her running scared ! Not what I wanted by any means but there really was no need for it to come to this if they hadn't messed us about !:o
So will see when she calls tonight if there is a happy outcome xxxx

Well done,you seem to be getting somewhere at last.We all have everything crossed for you.She only has to see the results of your utter dedication to Magic to know how well you would look after any cat or kitten.

You are right,it should never have come to this,if it wasn't for you there wouldn't BE any kittens to rehome at all! And poor Mama would go on reproducing at the risk of losing more kittens.

You deserve a medal quite frankly.
