I'm under the sink when the 4 min warning comes through:D
    Is there enough space left?

Price from my supplier is £397.83 [for the Blanco]

Thats my point - retail for the Franke is about £ 300, retail for the Blanco is about £400.
I can get the Blanco for less than that.. (then again I can find the Franke cheaper online..), so similar prices.
You aren't doing the right comparison if I might say so. You need to consider the benefit to you of ordering the whole scope of supply from a single source and then look at the complete supply price as a whole. Thats what I meant by whatever "deal you can cut". Going round trying to find the cheapest you can get for each individual item will be helpful from a negotiating position but could easily turn into a chasing your tail exercise. Go for a discount on the whole deal that will get you within the budget you are comfortable with.

Exactly Keystone - one single supplier that does realistic prices on everything you want saves a huge amount of messing about.

Often people forget about the time it takes to find things a few pounds cheaper and then the hassle it cause in chasing things, its just not worth it.

I really don't understand how this pricing thing works, but you are right I won't spend any of my time to save a few pounds, would only do it for a big difference.

The Franke sink had the same price on its website that my supplier , the blanco one is £100 more with my supplier, but he mentions the extra bits (which he didn't mention with Franke, I assume it included them???). This is what got me confused about the price.. seems clear now Blanco is more expensive, so we'll think about it.

I see the price for the Blanco from Germany has dropped to 340 Euros plus 15 Euros delivery (DHL International), about £305 total.

Same shop also has an Ebay Germany outlet here with 100% positive feedback from 35,664 reviews. They're obviously keen on having UK customers as they have the whole site available in English.

I got a Blanco sink from Germany last year for about half the UK price (different store - doesn't have the one you want). It arrived factory sealed BNIB direct from Blanco via DHL.

Btw, this Blanco link you posted earlier states:
With 3½" waste kit and overflow

You recall the old adage, "look after the pennies and the po........"

This is a money saving forum, you need to do all you can to save every penny you can.

I'm at odds with most trades on this forum, they forget that this forum section is sub titled DIY, astute posters can and do save by not giving a single supplier carte blanche rights to supply all goods.

    The caveat is "astute"

That is exactly my point, CK designer probably has his heart in the right place, maybe his brothers in arms don't.

Just open ebay.co.uk in a separate window.

Because you are still at the "putting the kit of bits together" stage. Once you have finalised the kit of bits he will add the prices up to give a total of £X. You will then negotiate and he will offer you a discount of y% to arrive at a final price of £Z. If Z is too high then you'll either walk away, refine the kit of bits again or continue to negoitiate price. He won't give you the maximum discount he has available at the first opportuinity.

Only he will know what scope he has for discounts across the package. Why should he reveal his hand too early? Your question doesn't make sense.

He's told us he's happy for us to buy anything (appliances and the sink/taps) elsewhere, so the price he's given me is final, no discounts negotiable.. same with the other appliances. Some are same price , some are cheaper elsewhere so we'll buy them elsewhere... I don't really mind, for me it's just easier to order everything from him, but it I save money buying elsewhere I will...
