    whats better for me
    what's
    £20 ee sim free 20gb a month - 20% student discount so £16
(do i get quidco £70 cashback on top of this or no?)
    sim-only

£45 cashback for all SIM only contracts between £14.00 and £20.99
Also, I see £18 at EE
    £18-£45/12=£14.25
I basically want to ask can I claim quidco on top of my student discount, looking to spend ideally £15 a month
"Claim" isn't the right word when dealing with Quidco and such, but I don't see why you won't be eligible for £45.
Is it really worth switching to save 75p a month?
  • Hi grumbler, well I have cancelled virgin already PLUS I would get the cash back from quidco right so its a win win in the end?

Unless there are other offers out there for £10-13 roughly plus isn't EE faster 4g?

If you cancelled your Virgin contract rather than asking for the PAC and already transferred to a new supplier then you do know that you've lost your phone number?

EE retentions straight away matched the £10 a month plusnet deal which includes 6GB data. Perhaps could have pushed for even more but happy with that and 6 GB is pretty much perfect for my usage.

I am currently with Smarty who use the three network. I am on a 30 day plan with 2gb, unlimited minutes and unlimited text: £7.50 a month. I get up to £1.25 a month back per gb i do not use, and get a free month for myself and a new customer on every referral made.

Anyone currently offering less for the same / similar GB's, minutes and text messages?
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

you might get the cash back from quidco. Never rely on getting cashback, just treat it as a bonus if it arrives. It sometimes doesn't transpire.
  • Hello All. I've got two SIMs on BT both at 20GB a month and paying £36/m.

Today I moved to Virgin and was assured that all SIM only deals include tethering.
So now I'm on Unlimited data for £25/m and 45GB for £18/m.

I need to upload a lot of data while working away, so this is a great offer for me...

Does anyone know if any of the networks offer 01,02,03 and 08 as part of their inclusive minutes.

Reason for asking is because me and the wife have a monthly sim only on an old legacy tmobile sim which includes this.....as well as 500 mins, unlimited texts and 1GB data. We pay £9 a month each for the privelege as that is plenty for us on the go. I realise i could beat this fairly easily but always thought the inclusive numbers were really handy. That's the main reason i've stayed put even though we've been out of contract for donkeys

ps-i've read that there are certain apps out there that will do a job round a costly number but tbh i can't be assed faffing about before i call a call centre or similar.
