Not bad, but for the same price you can get Unltd+Unltd+2Gb with Virgin mobile and on a 30-days' contract, not 12-24 months. The same EE signal IIRC (not sure about 4G).
Correct on 3G on Virgin, unless V mobile Business customer who get 4G at a inflated price no doubt.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    Hello
I am just about to switch after two years' with EE Galaxy S4. I want to try a new provider and saw this:

    http://www.moneysupermarket.com/mobile-phones/deal/?id=88452611623

Just got PAC code from EE today. I suppose I should wait a couple of weeks as I am still paying EE but this looks like a great deal to me. Any advice on 02 would be appreciated eg signal strength etc. I was happy with EE but it was expensive as I bought the handset. Handset now a bit ropey but is working so am sticking with it - battery life a bit rubbish. I am determined to save by doing SIM only for a while..

It makes no sense to ask strangers in the internet about the strength that depends on location.
Either use online checkers, e.g. http://www.o2.co.uk/coveragechecker, and, if you need a more reliable information, ask neighbors/colleagues or order a free PAYG sim and check yourself.
Also, most likely you need to unlock you phone to use it on other network.

As a side note, it's years and - The word pedants' top 10

Looking at those 30 day rolling contracts in the T&C it seems non virgin customers have to sign for 12 months on a sim only deal.

Pay Monthly SIM Only: 30-day minimum contract applies to Virgin Media cable & National customers, 12 month minimum contract for Non-Virgin Media customers.

Can Virgin tailor your sim only to what you want? Their prices on the website aren't that good.

+1 for giving Virgin a call. Especially if you already have other services with them.

About 2 years ago they offered me a rolling monthly SIM only deal with 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £5 because I was already a "good customer" due to my TV/Broadband/Phone package..

A couple of months ago they upped the price to £6 but increased my calls to unlimited too. Shows on my bill each month as a £23 tariff with a £17 loyalty discount. :)
Do Virgin Mobile not offer unlimited data anymore?

I just called to find out about a sim only and said I wanted unlimited data, the guy said they only do 4gb or 8gb.

He sounded as if he was in a foreign call centre.

    They quoted 4gb/unlimited calls & texts for £15pm, and 8gb /unlimited calls & texts for £23p.

I'm not too bothered about calls/texts 500-1000pm would do, it's just data.
Next cheapest I found was Giffgaff @ £20pm for unlimited.
