Crashed and don't know who is at fault.

    But the Other Driver is adamant she is not at Fault. If I put to her that if my OH and her go through insurance then a 50/50 will probably be decided on thus both at fault and both paying.

    So yeah, we will probably offer less than her quote so they both pay or both lose out big time through insurance

    Whoever was moving was at fault. If you stopped, then got hit, it's the other person's fault. If you were both moving, it's 50/50.
    Depending on the result of the above question, you may want to tell the other person to pay for their own and you'll do the same, to go through insurance if they don't accept that, or to give them the £250 and write it off as a bad job, and be glad they don't take it to the insurers.

    Only trouble with that in a Supermarket is when you come back with your trolly you can't get to your boot to unload
