I wanted Natasha as a girl's name. Going spare if you want it.

    Jessica was my girls name.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Youngest was going to be Yosef for a while, then ex hubby decided he wanted to stick with the J's, so opted for Jeremiah. I didn't like that so suggested Benjamin or Samuel......he ended up being something else.

Don't think your hubby would like my boy's names then.........so far, two of them have been mentioned!

I don't know your other two but I think James is a great name. :)

Miriam is lovely I think, and Mim such a sweet abbreviation.

    I like Miriam.
    Isaac & Miriam sounds good.

(edit: but I see it's been rejected by OH already)

Sounds like NDG and PN could run a master class between them and we could choose a day with some cricket o the TV to keep the Nice Men amused.

I'd rather attend the jewellery making masterclass than watch cricket.

The thing that I find amusing is when people that are 'allergict to electromagnetic waves' are interviewed about it in a TV studio. I think that was a 90s thing.

That was indeed. I don't know if that was physically real or something else.
My own prejudices come into play - a lot of "K" names are headed for the Youth Court. Kevin, Konnor, Kayleigh, Kieran......

Once you've been in teaching, you find that you start to associate most names with at least one student or pupil that was less than ideal.

You need to put that behind you or you could never pick a name. Even then, there's plenty of names I could never impose on a child.

There is a little girl in DD's class with that name. There are four (nearly five) siblings. Every one of them, including mum, has a name beginning with K.

All that's going to do, is cause problems with letters.

Both my DD's are 'E', and that may cause a few problems too. Their middle initial is the same, as they were both born in Russia, too!

Shortly after we named DD2 a discussion on mumsnet got wide media attention including the claim by teachers that any hyphenated names were a sure fire way of spotting a troublesome chav
    I think....
