I'm sure more people have embraced Christmas earlier this year. People with Santa hats in town all through this week, several parties seen happening and now many of us (I think actually most of the people I know) putting up decorations on 1st December.

Our children decorated the big tree today, their little bedroom trees and watched Nativity. I'm going to decorate the big tree again tomorrow ;)

Somebody who wants to live in a bungalow in Poole and can't afford one that isn't alongside that, I imagine.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

We had the Christingle service at church this afternoon. Must have been about 300 people there, each with the traditional orange / candle / sticks with sweets / ribbon. We made them ourselves in the service, then they switched the lights out and the place was lit just by the candles.

It is always lovely - takes me back to childhood when I attended as a Brownie (lots of girls with long hair precariously close to other girls' hair, moving round the church  ). Until last year we tended to sing Away in a Manger during the candlelit bit, which I would find very emotional for some reason, but this year and last it was a more upbeat chorus. I miss the carol but not the sniffing / tear wiping!

Not that I know about these things, but its probably a great place for a cannabis farm.

... apart from the smell :)

When I was in the caravan last year, in a completely dark field in the middle of nowhere, the house next door had been a C farm, person had been jailed and house sold off. The person/s hired to just water the plants had been living in a caravan on the plot where I was staying .... that's enough to make one a little nervous at 3am when there's a strange noise outside, which there was as there were big cows just 4' away that'd stick their snouts over the fence to try to snuffle/eat under the van I was in!

... but it was cheap :)

Maybe the cows had the munchies:eek:

Not quite. That gives me the phone - still got to work out how to get my phone number onto that phone and get a service ... and know I've bought the right service.

This PAC number lark.... how does that work? How long does that take?

I can collect phone after 4pm tomorrow.

Have you picked a service provider and contract pn? If you call your current one get your PAC number, then call new one/ go on to shop , sign up and give them PAC number...they do it all. It doesn't take long. Been years and years since I did it, probably even quicker now!
