OH and I were chatting, in the sitting room, when we heard the sound of ...runaway horse.
Sickening fast trot.
DD and OH went out to help. All reunited and well.
Rider was one of three youngish teens, came off in the woods when the pony bolted. There is a bauble hunt in the woods today, not the day to be hacking through there.
DD is riding out this pm:(
Don't the organisers notify locals?
We don't have drags or pleasure rides but we have fox hounds about half a dozen times a season plus clubbing and beagles. Both card me or otherwise drop on and let me know. Technically I'm a farmer so could hunt on a farmer's subscription here, but ...don't want to. We get an invite to a drinks evening but after the firs year and my slight guffaw they haven't tried getting me to g
To the hunt ball again. I suppose we'd meet people there, but.....you know...can't be 4rsed with all that.0 -

If I saw/heard a loose horse I'd scream, run and hide.0 -

I can't remember all the stories, but rough people were pushy, suspicious and threatening.
Sounds like my local Tescos. I just got back from there. I hate Tescos. I only go there when there are things I can't get from Sainsburys, or Waitrose... Or Aldi... Aldi and lidl are ok until you get to the til I think. ( and the fact I shop like a vegan at them). Both closest waitroses are actually a bit pants, very small, poor selection, lots of pre prepped focus.
Pn, I will email you, it might just me you and me,.....so no need to cut you hair, and we can do a weekday maybe?0 -

oh dear - we have gone all Christmas here this afternoon and the excitement levels are beyond control....two trees are up and decorated and we have the 'christmas mix' streamed to the tv. We had banned the 'C' word until the 1st of December but the genie seems to be well and truly out of the bottle now. Only thing missing is the advent calendar which Mr Amazon has failed us on...I think....0

oh, advent calender! must fill it up0

My parents artificial tree from when we were little is up and decorated in my living room. There is tinsel in the hallway and a star on the front door. I have a little tinsel tree and some sparkly baubles hanging from the fireplace in my room. That is the most decorating I have done for at last a decade!0

*envy* excitement!
I miss small people.
You are making me feel like scrooge. We only have the advent calenders so far.0
