I am suffering from overload. It is not just the basic JavaScript, but the HTML 5, too. There is an enormous learning curve.0

I use GiffGaff, and I expect you can find a suitable package from them for about £10 a month, may be more if you want to use a lot of the Internet.
I imagine the phone is locked to Tesco, but most of them can be unlocked quite cheaply. You may find a very good Tesco package anyway. Would you want to transfer your existing telephone number?
Most of what you said went WHOOSH.
I wouldn't be using it much, not like I see others doing - with their constant texting etc etc etc. But 2-3x a month, say, I'd like to go out, use it to find shops/routes/things (google maps), take 10-20 snaps of this/that and the other that I see .... lookup prices of things I spot and might want to buy that might be cheaper elsewhere (e.g. mysupermarket if I want to check the price of Pukka pies in other shops before I buy one).
I'd use it to access my Evernote notes too, which would end up having my To Do list on it.0 -

I really like the aims of this for the childrens run.
On the adult run I like the idea of the 'after party'.
This seems to be a bit of a trend for charities over here: to use events to do more than simply raise money.
At work we entered a couple of teams into a charity surf competition to raise money to provide infrastructure to poor Indonesian villages near good surf beaches but not actually able to benefit from them. Apparently they suffer as they pay more for stuff because of where they are but don't actually benefit from the tourist money.
The surfers were encouraged to raise money from as many people as possible rather than raise as much money as possible. The hope was to spread the word as well as raising funds.0 -

The Doozer truck is stricken on the drive, in need of a new engine.Sent H off happily to work this morning, got myself ready to take DS out to pick up a christmas tree and have lunch and... my car isn't there. H is in it. If I had a brain cell, I'd be dangerous.
Dunno what to do now! Pondering bus timetables (shudder).Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
