My sister has a book about foreign correspondents called "Has Anyone Here Been Raped and Speaks English?"...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

lir, when dog dog sleeps, does she do that greyhound thing of sticking her legs out of the bed? Lurcher dog has supermodel legs too and looks too big for her bed, but I'm not sure if we got her a bigger one whether she'd stick her legs out of that too. She certainly sticks them off the sofa. Just want to make sure we're doing everything that we should to ensure she's comfy. Curled up she constantly looks like a wishbone. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? For tea tonight I nuked some white rice, nuked my last two eggs (hard boiled) ... then whipped up some instant curry sauce.... voila: Curried eggs.
Served in a soup bowl, eaten with a teaspoon.
I can thoroughly recommend the Asda instant curry sauce - perfect for chips, or curried eggs

Mmm... that's interesting. Thanks! Maybe we should get a bigger bed then. She certainly likes her blanket. She has long legs and very muscular hind quarters and we know that she's not pure bred but want to make sure she doesn't suffer from any ailments. Leg warmers sound fun, but I can't help thinking she'd get her teeth and take them off within about 5 minutes.
Where do you get a knitting pattern for greyhound leg warmers? Or is your mum one of those talented knitters that can make stuff up.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Why not go the nutritional route, and have brown rice? It tastes nicer, too....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Well.......I don't know how good they will look.....:rotfl: but if they keep her warm I don't mind.
I think the thing to do is keep an eye on the girl. She'll tell you. Ours also have double duvets folded in half or quarters (with covers for easy cleaning and a slightly less destitute look).
The position they will dictate will be what makes them most comfortable. If they are cold, they will curl up, if she's lying with legs out she is happy to do so. If things change that's sort of when I would take more note of how and why and in what way and look to support her for her favourite positions.0 -
Belated happy birthday to Silvercar from me too.
Interesting about not using transport on the sabbath, GDB. Isn't there some limit to how far you're allowed to walk on the sabbath, though?
Very true, but that would be trumped by anything health related, so breaking the law about walking would be allowed.
There is no limit on how far you can walk within a built-up area. It raises the question, though, whether Hampstead Heath counts as part of the built-up area, as it is wholly enclosed within London but it is quite large. If it does not, we may have inadvertently broken the rules. I may ask an expert....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
