Bugslet, hope you're OK? And Mr. Bugs?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

We did start the day in the garage for the first time in quite a few months as I managed to stack the junk close enough to the walls to fit the car in which is a real luxury. Throwing away the junk would make more sense but takes longer, there are about 6 large bags of old kids 'shoes' (boots, flip flops, sandals etc) none very worn but who wants second hand shoes?
Last time I did a boot sale down here in the South East (Chelmsford) last Easter, there were a couple of women from Ghana. They had a handy little business on the side exporting second hand shoes.
It is comment on out times and perhaps our futures that when the ships come in from Asia, 5 containers arrive stuffed with manufactured products.
The return journey is:
2 empty
1 waste paper etc.
1 scrap metal
1 our wonderful high value engineering products.
Woops I must be thinking of Germany.0 -

Just looked it up on Mr G Maps - 30 miles, 50 mins.
Checked the train and, as usual, I'd have to go away, then back again .... so a journey of 1.5 hours. No wonder nobody uses them.
Same place we met before...do remember the square out side the tk Maxx? Its a car park except on market days....and during Christmas market.
Lets see if spirit can meet or not, then move to email once we know to arrange a date......
Re trains ....I think remember last time you allowed a long time for being on time, and parking can be a pita. I'd do a comparison of ticket price and parking charges rather than time really.....because the money is an issue and actually around this time of year there is a lot to be said for less stress in travelling IMO!!0 -

I hadn't realised we'd met in Salisbury last time. I must be losing my marbles.0 -

If you meet at a weekend, there's even a possibility that I might be able to come.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

There's more pressure then..... the more that are coming, the more pressure is on you that it's a good market and not a damp squib0

Not at all.
1. All such things are a disappointment. The wy things are now they over promise and under deliver ( I think from doozer that the best one is actually up near them out side of Germany)
2. Its not Mine:D. I've clearly Sid I've not been there, so any pressure should be on the telegraph or salisbury.
3. Pressure is on all company to shine and be witty. Alternatively, and IMO more accurately, no pressure on anyone, just turn up if agreed to and chat!0 -
