I think it was something to do with turning 20...in base 25...
The SCs are the poster children of the advantages of having kids young and thus having post kids freedom whilst still young enough to appreciate it....I think....0 -

No and I'm regretting it. Last winter was fine but then I sat somewhere else (it is hot desks but a new team moved on to the floor plate and they have first dibs on the desk I used to generally sit on). I now have a favourite desk as it is in a bank of only two, backs onto a wall and because it is next to the big boss, it is not really popular with anyone else...but given how cold it is and how underpowered the computer is I may have to think about moving. I have my wollen sweater on but my legs are already cold and the longer you sit the colder it feels.
We did start the day in the garage for the first time in quite a few months as I managed to stack the junk close enough to the walls to fit the car in which is a real luxury. Throwing away the junk would make more sense but takes longer, there are about 6 large bags of old kids 'shoes' (boots, flip flops, sandals etc) none very worn but who wants second hand shoes?I think....0 -

Do you have a thermometer? What is the actual temperature in your office? Could you take in a little convector heater and plug it in under your desk?
Our office is usually OK but sometimes I find myself teaching in v cold rooms. I just get out a few Bunsen burners and light them, though, and the place soon warms up!We did start the day in the garage for the first time in quite a few months as I managed to stack the junk close enough to the walls to fit the car in which is a real luxury. Do you have a Clarks shoe shop near you? Lots of them collect used shoes (make sure you attach them to their partners so the pairs don't get separated) and send them to the developing world for people who haven't got shoes otherwise.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
When I was at school, the heating used to be on throughout the summer but not working in the winter......apparently all these years later, it is still exactly the same!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Just looked it up on Mr G Maps - 30 miles, 50 mins.
Checked the train and, as usual, I'd have to go away, then back again .... so a journey of 1.5 hours. No wonder nobody uses them.0
