    I am 100% London:
Were you born within the sound of Bow Bells or what? You know your plates from your boat, you're a native.

    No great surprise really.

How did the job thing go - are you now wearing braces and talking into 3 phones at once?

Given its rarity value, what sort of apple will you choose? We are big Royal Gala fans but don't mind Pink Lady or Golden Delicious, not too keen on the softer, mushier varieties.

One of the tree here, unknown variety, not the best, but fresh. Full of vitamins, And FRESH!

Apples are the think I'm really struggling to choose for our orchard. I want, romantically, to go for old local varieties, but I wonder if I am more likely to enjoy some of the moderns.

Actually I've just been doing my CV for the proper application.

I asked my boss if I could apply today. She said yes but said she thought I wouldn't get it this time but quite probably if I applied again in a few months. Bit of a weird answer TBH. It makes we wonder if she's asked the bloke running the desk not to give it to me now but give me the job that will be coming up there in a while. Maybe I'm over thinking it as she doesn't really seem the type to go in for all that.

Most of the orders are placed electronically now: it's pretty rare for us to put in a voice order although it's not unknown. Generally the phone is only used to order more champagne or to tell a broker to get us tickets for a sporting event.

I know but all that 80s stuff is just so much more 'Television' than people in shirt sleeves typing on computers and looking at spreadsheets.

Presumably you use personal mobiles to fix the market anyway?

    BBM usually.

Actually the SEC requires everyone in the US to have all messages from all sources to be recorded: texts, Bloomberg, phonecalls, BBM, email, skype etc.

If I was trying to pass on inside info I'd use the chat function on something like this:

    http://www.kongregate.com/

If you put something like B APPL (B for buy, APPL is the 'ticker' for Apple) nobody would ever know. They wouldn't even think to look.

What about IP logging - presumably what you really need to do is to buy a payg sim for cash whilst wearing dark glasses, top it up with cash (again buying the top up vouchers for cash at car boot sales and never switch it on whilst you are at home. Probably better be a micro sim too so you can swallow it if they come to arrest you.
