Just phone social services and tell them that the mother is a UKIP member, they'll sort it out.

Or of course, you can have the police taser the mother.

    I shouldn't laugh at that!

The lady that we bought our first business with is homeless since Friday, and it's looking like this for the next 6-8 months.

Why should someone spend 30 years working for nice home etc, to have it burgled and set on fire?

I doubt they'll get a prison sentence, even if caught.........

Polite reminder: You have to be nice when you're on the NPT, even to UKIP members and police.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

It sounds as if you are enjoying it most of the time, just try not to think about the money!

Looks like you could drive around in there for miles.
    Utterly weird.;)

You can, I've taken a small truck in there about 20 years ago.

I don't think it matters too much, rabbit about your day. Once you have exchanged any medical info, then you can only talk about yourself, or try and pick up on a couple of items in the news.

Can you legally get away with doing things to the foetus you are carrying that you could never do to the baby once it arrives? Assuming yes, what is the solution?

Yes, you can. Like having an abortion!

Shamefully I only got 76% London, lost points on the Red Rockin question and the link between Bank and Waterloo I think.
    What is Red Rockin?

    I got 0% Northern though :o
    .

80% Northern York - which is where I was born, so rather apt.

37% London, definitely lost points on any Tube related question.

The risk is that social services take your baby away when it is born.

@ silvercar, sorry, no idea what happened with the quote button there. Mr Bugs wouldn't want to be in the state he is in, but if he would choose at this exact moment to exit I am in doubt about, I think he has a bit more to go yet. He may confound us and be here next year.

Restrictions on how many posts you can quote.

Be very clear to the hospital on the outcome you expect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_Care_Pathway_for_the_Dying_Patient

I'm rather good at being firmly stroppy when called for. I just find it bizarre that you can decide to stop things like feeding, which in essence is killing someone slowly, when it makes far more sense to, put it bluntly, put them out of any suffering. Having put several dogs to sleep, it's very gentle.

I do understand all the ethical and moral questions, but he's not going to improve, the only question is the timing if such an option were available.

Possibly too pragmatic at times, but his brother and daughter have no disagreements, which is helpful.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Oh bugslet, me too.

Taht said even when PTS is an option its hard to know when, look at me with old girl.....by the time it felt right last year it was more relief than sadness, unlike with special girl who was such a shock.

Well, despite including some pomegranate and coriander in my diet yesterdayso real fresh food.....I haven't been sick and I haven't been in pain and I haven't been anything else. In fact, feel great.

Wondering if I dare eat an apple. I want fresh food SO BADLY!

He went into hospital yesterday and the palliative care team are coming round this afternoon, after that he many go back to the nursing home, if not it will be Wednesday.
I hadn't even heard the word palliative before I found myself in my car with a booklet of local homes, driving round to them all to ask if they did palliative care :(

Not that it was needed as he died without being moved.
