So they'll call second in line. You do a lot PN. But you cannot do everything, especially as you are ot the closest.0 -
Internet's misbehaving/slow loading... I fear being cut off again0

When did you stop feeling sick when pregnant with Isaac?
Shortly after I gave birthWhile I was in labour, they gave me some powerful anti-emetic drugs in a drip to stop me being sick.
From about 24 weeks, after I ended up dehydrated and on a drip for the nth time, they gave me some anti-emetics in tablet form, as by then the risk to the baby is smaller from pills than the risk to the baby from me throwing up all the time. They worked, to the extent that I stopped being sick 10-12 times daily, and was only sick 1-2 a day, but still felt very nauseous.
It's not as bad as with Isaac, fortunately - I've not needed to go on a drip once, yet, whereas I'd been on one several times by this stage with him.I bathed with DS1 when he was very little. I remember being pregnant and DS2 moving around and creating waves in the water. Once DS2 was born I stopped bathing with DS1, I used to bath them together until DS1 didn't want to - he was probably about 7.
I did that too - great fun!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Thoughts to Bugslet and the fc family. If you need to offload, please feel welcome to do so here. I'm sure everyone is more than happy to 'listen'. On the other hand, if you just want to read no problems. That is just one of the beauties of the thread - it is there for whatever you need it to be.0

What Nikkster said.
Although "brevity" is one of the things it isn't, whatever you need it to be.........much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Doozer: sorry for the delay. Was hosting my parents for the weekend. I've just had a look for the sofa and have realised I can't remember which website it is on. Oops. Here is another one I like though:http://www.made.com/collection/garston-collection/garston-3-seater-sofa-cardinal-red-14397
My brother and I definitely used to share a bath. We also shared baths with visiting friends. As if that wasn't scandalous enough, I believe there is photographical evidence :eek:0 -

Even the coca cola ad was on at the weekend.
Waaaaaaay too early!
Someone definitely flicked the 'Christmas is coming' switch over the weekend. Heard my first Christmas songs in a shop yesterday too0 -
All this "christmas is here" stuff is Bad News chez NDG. Once OH's senses are regularly assaulted by such fare, he gets grumpier and grumpier until Boxing Day. Then his birthday cheers him up nicely....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

So, and update on the Ikea trip. I know this is what you've all been waiting for
My dad experienced Ikea meatballs for the first time. He was blindsided by a bit of a pincer movement from my mother and I, so stood no chance of having lunch
I got some of the things I went in for (night/ tea lights, a towel rail), didn't manage to find a floor lamp or coat rack that I liked enough to buy (I say buy, I mean for someone else to buy for me...). Made up for that by buying a few things I didn't go in for: 5 pictures + frames, curtains for the breezy front door, a wooden storage chest and a plug in nightlight that my mum insisted I needed.
We were in Ikea for 5 hours! Good job we stopped to refuel0
