I'll have to make use of the garden. Or hold on until I go to work.

Would have preferred a downstairs loo here, but can't really see where it would go. And one upstairs loo was better than one downstairs one (as is the case in a lot of the terraces around here).
If I can find the link to your house again .... I can look at where you can put it :)

I've always liked the idea of a garden brickbuilt outhouse with a loo and utility room ..... Handy for if you're out in the garden in the summer, especially if you've people round .... and the machine can catch fire safely out there - and mucky stuff can be trundled in and cleaned too - like bikes or stuff.

There isn't a floorplan. Which was quite annoying, but maybe it put off some of the competition :)

:( still sounds good spirit. Do you think it would be ready if I set off now ;)

I had a potato rosti (on the basis potatoes are meant to be ok) which two anchovies chopped in it and a dry fried egg on the basis that if something ones wrong it has to be either egg or anchovy. (Or oil). :(. Steak and kidney pudding sounds amazing.

I made Hunters chicken with some amazing chicken breast fillets and smoked bacon I got from the butchers....delicious!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Yes, it would have.
It takes long enough to consider places with floorplans - trying to guess them's too hard.

That's what we have to get stuff up in our loft, it works great. Plus it isn't on show as it is in the loft. However I don't think it would work for lir's application as when we use ours it takes two people... one to load and the other to hoist. It is great though. Also, from a health and safety perspective I'd worry about you losing balance and falling through the necessary void. Dumb waiter idea is much more practical.

Could you use the hoist instead of having a 'proper' dumb waiter. So, you have the void space where the dumb waiter would be, but instead of installing (I guess) several thousand pounds worth of guide rails and pulleys, you just have the electric hoist and PN's Ikea bag. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I would never advise this but why not offer 230 as a cash buyer and then threaten to walk away unless they accept your gazunder a few days before exchange is due....alternatively who are the trustees of your fund? Can't they decide to distribute the funds? WE could crowd source your 15k - each NP could put in a grand....

    Bit in bold....

IF I had a grand....but a grand may as well be 100 grand to me, I ain't got it! :rotfl:

Has anybody noticed on property programmes....:

1] People finding houses - the woman always gets pregnant
2] People building or renovating/saving major buildings - often die.

I'd missed the crowd sourced bit.

On me and money - I'm always meticulously reliable for it. It just seems in life that if you really need it you can't get your hands on it :)

I'd only borrow if I absolutely knew without question that my 4rse was covered in at least 3 directions .... and if I made a financial commitment I'd be prepared to clean public toilets with my own toothbrush to never default by one penny or one day.

Not many like me around these days, unfortunately.

My credit rating is probably dire, simply because I take money VERY seriously and so don't have debts, loans or cards .... so unrated = poor rating as unknown quantity.

If it's got carpets, then that can be a problem if it's hideous or mucky.... as it'd take effort and money to sort it out and you end up compromising with either a cheap carpet or an inadequate carpet clean.

If you get somewhere with carpets I will lend my carpet cleaner and you can clean them to your hearts content.

    It is very underused here.

PN, how many of the houses you are looking at are in areas where there's no parking on streets?
