draft done, comments in and 6000 words down. got to polish it up by 3rd september. will look at it later in the week (prob friday to shine the t.urd)
Exactly how it should be done.
If I go get to the point where I have a whole something to hand in, it will be a turd that didn't have time to be polished! And one that has had a long and painful creation.
(Apologies to those with delicate sensibilities such as Michaels)
If it's a lurker who just sent a pm with a questionnaire - I think you have a spelling mistake in Q19... it should be education level not lever.
Anyhow, I'm sorry... I don't fill in questionnaires unless there is some kind of monetary compensation - MSE and all that0 -
There are certain agents who never seem to do floor plans (would put me of selling through them), and 9/10 times the place didn't live up to the photos.
PN, I think you need to get round some houses. It's not the same looking online.
Good luck with the purchase
Did the parents like it?
Son has started looking, we are helping with deposit, he's got his mortgage multiple and is now totally shocked at how little you get in a c**d area of SE Inner London for such a huge sum.
He also noticed the price increases compared to when he looked last year (when they were looking at RM for rentals).
The good stuff seems to vanish as soon as it appears, he has already compromised on space (1 bed rather than 2 as he was going to rentaroom) + he thought ex LA may be an option until he viewed one.neverdespairgirl wrote: »I've emailed our insurers to find out.
On the plus side, the burglar came in over the worktop, and back out the same way (leaving fingerprints and shoe prints) and went within a foot of my jewellery hook next to the stove - which had my engagement ring, another ring, and a gold necklace OH's mother gave to me, which had belonged (in its previous life as a watch-chain) to her grandfather.
.
Could have been a child. Our neighbour fostered last chance teens for some years (and we got to know some very well) and one, who eventually made good, was a pro burglar with his Dad from the age of 9. Sadly, he never got onto anyone's radar until he was 12 and had never been to school so couldn't read and write.
We only found out this fact when we got locked out once and he shimmied up an inaccessible wall to a tiny open bathroom window and squeezed through it. We never left that window open after that,There have been times when life has been harder where I have found even small communications about staying in touch 'too much trouble'. I have sort of gone even quieter and regrouped. Or just vegged. To the outside world it could look like cba but without attitude.
When I have resurfaced though, friends were just where we left off.
I have found that too......had a juicy 2 hour chat to my very good friend from Brighton and we haven't spoken for months......but no apols needed, we just catch up from where we left off last time.
You sound perky LIR....I mean healthwise.......I read about your community things...don't let them fret you too much.
I have iced the stove for the time being as we can wait but now have discovered Fireboxes(which are square stoves really).
The good news is we now have a lounge floor laid....yay...it's high shine USA style dark wood. I look back at the pics of it all dug up down 3' with boulders and clods of sand and it's like a distant dream now.
Lots of snagging done this W/E but OH may e laying the hallway floor this weekend....6 months of concrete floor will be gone.
Chose an oversized black wood parquet from Topps...goon look lush
I forgot, how come job applications Miss K?0 -

Thanks. I'm definitely pushing. We shall have to see what makes it out
House got the seal of approval. If it hadn't it would have made me think twice (or thrice, or whatever), but I don't think it would have been enough to put me off. Saying that, it sounds like they had to approve just because knew I would carry on anywayI don't think that was the case, I do really think they liked the house.
Edit: Good luck to Master FC with the property hunting too0 -

Good all round! I wish I could help you with the thesis, but I know that I won't understand a word. Hope you can just muster the energy for the last bit.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I'm sure it would be just as good as what I'm coming up with. Sure you don't want a go?
I've just about given up hope of it writing itself... Just about0 -
