Does the perceived anonymity of the internet disinhibit?
Not really. If anything on here came up in conversation in RL, I think I would say much the same.
I'm shy in many respects, but also honest and open. Plus I've spend waaay too much time around medics and biologists.
Speaking of scientists - haven't noticed missk around for a while, hope she is ok.0 -

I can't remember what age they start to learn about some activities and some body parts being private, but I should think he's at that stage by now, isn't he? Then you can link the privacy issue to the connection between sex and love and a special relationship between Mummy and Abba etc etc (assuming you'll be wanting to bring him up with attitudes to sex along the "won't share" lines you've described as your own PoV) and lay the foundations for teaching him when he's older that a girl who chooses to sleep with him deserves for him not to brag about all the details to his mates.Does the perceived anonymity of the internet disinhibit?
Anonymity, what anonymity? Some of the NP are anonymous, but there are plenty of us who must be easily recognisable to anybody who knows us at all well IRL. You, for a start, and me, and lir, and NDG and probably others. My policy is never say to anything on here that would cause me more than a passing embarrassment if it was read (and linked to me) by anybody at all.lostinrates wrote: »For says hello to the np he knows, and now says , that's banal they don't want you to type hello from me ....put macputers down...put macputers down...
Well, I'm pleased to have a "hello" from fir. I like him. Tell him I hope his week at work goes swimmingly and that by tomorrow all the transport it back to normal for him. :hello:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

He doesn't have to face transport again til Friday unless he gets a client surprise.
We briefly chatted about sex chat, he said he is constantly amazed what I and his female friends share. He said he has never once discussed pudenda proportions or features with a group of male friends, for example, but female friends have thought nothing of saying the same in his presence about penises.
Oh well....
How did we even get started on this?0 -

Hello to fir from me too
I'm sure anyone who knows me would recognise me if they were reading. There isn't anything I'd say on here I wouldn't say in RL. Some of it I'm sure some of my friends wouldn't necessarily want to hear, but as I've said, I'm quite honest and open.0 -

:hello:
We started off with talking about a special hug and progressed the topic as the need arose. On being asked what oral sex was I answered truthfully that it was a different kind of special hug .
I love the waving smiley. It always makes me smile. It is so welcoming.0 -

I'm generally quite happy talking about sex in the abstract, but draw the line at anything revealing the anatomy, preferences or performance of any specific individual. I don't want to disclose my own, and I feel that if anybody else wants to disclose theirs, that's up to them, but nobody else ought to be making such disclosures for them without their specific consent. That cuts both ways - I've no patience with the kind of women that feel entitled (whether they actually get it or not) to a level of respect from men that they're not prepared to give in return.
I'm not discomposed by lir's chat about it on here because I'm assuming she's not saying anything about fir that he would mind. Nikkster's ex's leaving of "evidence" for her to find, despite having been asked not to, comes under the heading of "relationship dysfunction" rather than "sexual performance" so that doesn't upset me either. Nikkster, you are so much better off single than with him, but I'm still hoping you wont stay single for long, and that you'll find a nicer man who'll treat you quite differently.
