The storm has been disappointing here so far. A light breeze and a bit of rain. No zombies either. A poor effort D-.

I think I am located in a sheltered hollow .... persistent rain falling like rods from the sky, but no wind.

It was quite windy this afternoon here, and alternated between raining v heavily and stopping. Now it is not windy at all, and not raining either.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Not long ago we thought that the wind was starting to pick up. Then realised it is so still that we'd heard a plane en route to Luton:o

I've heard good things about Panama as a Mexico substitute, though I'm a bit worried it may be a bus mans holiday if you go there.

That's the only way tablet will allow me to spell bus mans without correcting g to Buchanan's or bananas.
