South West Trains passengers have been advised not to travel on Monday with most services not running until at least 08:00 GMT to allow Network Rail to check the lines. A reduced timetable will be in operation with journey times extended as some trains are limited to speeds of 50mphPlease stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Thanks, that might well impact on him. I'll have him check after supper.0 -
Got an email and voicemail from holiday company this morning (virgin) saying that due to a system error we can't go to the hotel we have booked but they have "upgraded" us to a different hotel. Looked it up - in a different town, possibly equivalent in terms of facilities but definitely not an upgrade and accepts bookings from families with children - other one was adults only. Quite why it has taken them a whole month to work out that there wasn't any availability at the hotel I don't know.
Asked for a refund, they said someone will phone me back on Monday to "discuss" it will be a pretty short discussion...holiday starts on 16th so doesn't give much time to sort something else out. At least it will get us out of flying virgin as I've been concerned about the awful reviews for their economy class.0 -

We're on SW too. Hopefully should get an extra hour in bed for the second day running!0 -
I've been really dodgy today. I have 'collapsed' about half a dozen times today and felt a bit out of it. DH and resident parent are saying things like 'over done it' in last couple of weeks. Not in pain badly ( in fact head feels as good as it gets) just frustrated as obviously cannot drive or anything like this and partly why I moved horses early.
Pretty fed up of being do bloody pathetic tbh. Grrrrrrrrrr.0 -

You are anything but pathetic. You might not be able to do as much as you would like, but you are far from pathetic. Look after yourself, lir x0
