Where is PN when you need her....I think....0

As I said a lot of work and expense. Sounds lovely though.
Not too much expense - the farmers who use the fields keep up the fences on all the land, and my Dad has learned to lay hedges, and planted lots of them (and 200-odd trees) over the last few years. He thinks hedges are a Good Thing.
My Mama re-planted the orchard, about 6 years ago, with some cursory help from Bruv....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I knew my neighbours and local shopkeepers. My dad was on a residents committee. It is was you want it to be.

So successful date night then for the inrates.:jWhat did you eat/drink?
.....
OH is off shooting today - his first shoot of teh season, it is some distance away in LiRs direction.
.
Oh....you should have come.....
DH most of mine but we ordered.....
A vegetable board for me (which made me make noises like PN) and DH had rabbit and lemon pasta, then the signature porchetta (which wasn't that great IMO) and a special of whole plaice...which really was, then kale (delicious) and polenta chips...delicious but also very unhealthy. Then a special pudd of rasperry frangipane and tutti fruiti limoncello lemon meringue pie. Obviously most of it was laced with butter and stuff, so op nibbled and swelled but DH sat and ate like a monster. He wanted to have a full size pasta for a primo too, but I managed to talk him out of it. Its SO unfair. He can eat for England and he is looking pretty delicious naked ATM, all firm and and just the right weight, not too thin, not overweight, jjust...lir shivers and goes off to find DH.......l0 -

Well, it is unfair that you can't enjoy food in the way that he can, but OTOH, it is not unfair at all that you get to enjoy him being delicious.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

generali...
Do you remember I tried to put you in touch with someone who then dropped out of serious life and was useless? They are doing quite well I think in new career, they have a big event today(?) which was a critic's choice in time out in your city.

Laying hedges is no joke, your father must be very fit.
None of our hedges are good enough to lay, but they are stout and tall on the boundaries so we're not going to do anything about that.
Three planting is ok if your forums wasn't used as a repository for hard core :mad:0 -
