I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't have posted it (except for reasons of taste and I can hadly object given the form I have) but more generally if someone is photographed in public is it fair to circulate the image even if it is likely to cause embarassment?I think....0 -
IIRC he was from a West Country seafaring family.
Birds Custard has a slightly interesting history if you can be bothered to look it up as has Dewhurst butchers. As has teriyaki sauce actually. It's as Japanese as apple pie (kinda).
Changing the subject. Awesome photo you posted on TMF. The fires are making big news here as well. Terrible situation.0 -

I'm having a down day. The fires are sad. The little girl in greece is for some reason really upsetting me in the place most people keep a heart
perhaps I haven't turned to stone yet. There is so much coverage about the people who have kept her, but none about how long it might take to screen the people who might be her real family.....
The whole thing and how the potential families must feel, the confusion this child must feel, its all making my blood run cold.0 -

This is slightly random for what we're talking about but it reminds me of a friend. His middle name is Campbell.
For some reason, a lodger asked if he was a member of the Campbell's soup family. Friend told him that he was, went into his kitchen and retrieved tins of said soup. He gifted them to his lodger saying that he got free soup all the time.
He has absolutely nothing to do with the Campbell's soup family although we're told that the ex-lodger still thinks that he has!
My favourite story involves him telling same lodger that he wore a fake moustache to important meetings as it made people take him more seriously. He even drove him to work one day with the moustache on. On another occasion he got a company director to phone the lodger to leave a message saying 'important meeting tomorrow, don't forget moustache'
Oh, and he hid an Australian in the boot of his car over the border between England and Wales after telling him he was supposed to have a Visa.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I' believe I should get double brownie points for the number of times I have deleted posts since NDG posted her picture.
I mean.....seriously...I've written and not posted about four posts.0
