    Not hard for me :)

I never even got as far as having curtains at my last place (after 7 years). I did get cheap venetians after about 4 years though... before then I had expanding poles in a few windows and the rest had stick on hooks holding up bits of dowelling, with lightweight voiles hanging from them (by shoving the rod through the hen usually and hanging them upside down).

Well, my lunch was pre-determined when I went shopping yesterday and bought frozen goods. I'm fine buying frozen and keeping it in the fridge, but it has to be used within 24 hours really.

So I had: 6 small yorkshires, frozen broccoli/cauli/carrots, homemade mash, 2 Lidl cumberland sausages and some instant onion gravy. All served in a large bowl. It's what I had for tea last night too. So all the Yorkshires are gone, but there's still some veggies left.... as I've eggs to use up I'll probably make a baked veggie frittata.

I've been away for the last fortnight, so lots of catching up to do!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Do you have a freezer compartment Pastures? Just wondered because I've found something I really like in the Tesco cheapo range, work out at 25p per meal (plus veg or whatever you want to put with them)...

I know you like beans, know you like cheese, so thought you'd like these if you haven't already tried them:

Any suggestions for a good webmail account for a parent? I got my dad set up with a mac for ease of use and another family member set him up with a webmail account. It's hotmail- yes I know but I can't be everywhere.

Last time he tried to get in it seems to be rebranded as outlook and wasn't letting him log in without entering codes sent to a mobile number. Waaay too much hassle to keep going.

Wondering if there's an easy way to transfer him to a less problematic account like iCloud/GMX /gmail, that he can just log into using a browser and see his mail/send new ones. Ease of use and ease of transfer's the key issue.

Anybody on here managed to do that/ got any suggestions?

I'm well out of the loop on email; I gave up on ISP based email when my cable company changed its brand name on what seemed like a daily basis.

If there's software on his mac that can get into his webmail and copy it to his computer, is that what you mean?

    That would be brill.

As long as he doesn't have to pay for the account though.

Opening email acoounts doesn't seem to be easy any more. you seem to already need to have one to get one, or am I misunderstanding how it works?

Gmail and hotmail are popular with our users. If there's a chance they will log on at a library, then I would suggest gmail over hotmail as with the latter quite often usage gets blocked, not sure if they restrict bandwith thinking we're spammers or what...

Not yahoo, lots of hacked accounts following a security breach. Definitely ensure an alternative email is given so that there's a trail back in with any of them.

    No freezer compartment.

I'd not buy those, could make them easily enough.... although just cheesy mash is the same thing.
