house warming party as the next np meet? :D:D

You will all always be more than welcome. I won't have the first idea what to do with so many rooms, so it will help me feel less like I'm rattling around. I'm used to living out of 1 room. This is going to be very extravagant (with an interior design theme of student 'chic').

    Fantastic, congratulations!

    Lovely! Multi-talented missk!

Her talent is far from doubted. Her need of another 'job' is though. Missk needs to take things easy sometimes.....

Sleep in each bedroom. It will give you an idea of how best to decorate them more than you'd get just 'visiting ' in them.

    Run around naked.

Have baths with the bathroom door open.

    Enjoy not living with boys.

I've done nothing ALL day. I almost went to the big supermarket in the bigger town further away, but realised when I got there ( took resident parent to that train station...holiday for a while) that I've list my wallet.

I came home to look for wallet and unstack dishwasher. Did neither. :D

I ponced about a bit in the garden with Vicks and did some paper work, fed critters, walked dogs......just the minimum. Might be why I have so e energy left!

    Dilemma of the season.....

Normally if I get my hair coloured in autumn I might get some strawberry blonde, or copper lights put through the tortoiseshell. I think I'm going a bit darker this time as well, for autumn.

But rosacea and anything even slightly red seem a bad idea......:(. I cannot decide.....

It all sounds great. Quite frankly, I'd happily settle for more hair.

Don't do what a friend of ours did. She's 'of a certain age', and her hair suddenly went cherry red. It's a mid-life crisis, like when staid men suddenly go out and buy a Harley Davidson.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I am not looking forward to transferring away a large proportion of my money in the next few days (have already transferred a 10% deposit, there is another 20% following). I am very lucky that I will still have a bit of a cushion left. After this and and putting a lot of hotel expenses on my credit card in the past 10 days, I'm definitely feeling more comfortable with spending (plus the occasional peek at sofas, expensive light shades etc).

I'm pretty sure most of the furniture has been left (so 3 double beds, 1 single, sofa and 2 armchairs, dining table and 4 chairs, 2 wardobes (+2 fitted), chest of drawers, 3 desks. And all for no extra (I only paid for the white goods in the kitchen and not so much). I think I will have everything I could want to live with and can gradually work out what I need/ like/ want.

Thank you so much for the offers. I am surprised at just how much stuff it looks like they will be leaving (I said if there was anything they didn't want they would leave it and I would clear the complete junk in return). Think the first jobs will be the more pressing building repairs and then the electrics (moving and adding sockets...).

Monday. I get back from a weekend with a friend on Sunday.
At least there shouldn't be too much time for things to sink in :)
