Before we moved, Isaac's school was a mile or so away, and there was a pretty direct bus for lazy or rainy days. I'm sure some commuters got it deliberately for the morning entertainment value - I got, on my birthday, "Mummy, are you old or really old, now?" and Sam got (after Isaac had been watching a David Attenborough programme) "how does the sperm get to the egg when humans mate?"...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Delightful. Reminds me of a conversation I had with DD when she was much younger.
Her: Mummy, can I have a baby brother?
Me: Sorry, but no.
Her: Why not?
Me: [trying to explain not wanting more kids without implying that the existing ones weren't wanted] Well, for one thing I've got my boy and I've got my girl and I don't want any more, but also we haven't got a daddy in this family any more, and you have to have a daddy to have a baby.
Her: [laughing] Don't be silly, Mummy. It's the mummies that have the babies. Don't you know that by now?
Apologies if I've told that before. It's one of my favourites.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

That's fantastic! No-one can patronise like a small child, everyone is but a pale reflection of that infant scorn at your ignorance!
Bruv wanted a younger sibling very much, and pestered my mother on and off for years. He was on to a loser, she's already had 4 in 7.5 years, and had definitely had enough, she thought.
Speaking of baby brothers, I'm collecting mine from Heathrow tomorrow afternoon. He's been in South Korea for 3 years now, working, and I've not seen him since Christmas. I'm really excited!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
James would ask me if I was having any more, on my reply in the negative, his reply would be...
Thank god for that!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I wanted a brother, badly. But I wanted an older one. I was desperate for my parents to adopt from Ethiopia.. I also remember feeling a bit odd about the age thing going on and suggesting we all swapped about so daddy married my sister and mummy was the grandmother. my mother must have hated me.
:o:o the others cannot have been that impressed either. :rotfl::rotfl:

Once when the 4 of us (OH, Isaac, Sam and I) were staying somewhere, Isaac suggested that he slept with me, and Sam and OH share a bed. Both of them looked a bit nervous....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Can anyone help me with some VBA for Excel please? I know there are some real experts here.
My problem - I have some VBA functions that need to access some data. The data is an 100 x 100 array, which currently resides in one tab of the spreadsheet. The data never changes.
The problem is that to copy the functions to a new spreadsheet I also have to copy this tab with the data. It would be neater to hold all the data within the VBA code. I am struggling to find a neat way to do this. Any suggestions?
For one-dimensional arrays, you can do this:
XYZ = Array(0.00034, 0.000338, 0.000337, 0.000335, 0.000334, 0.000333, 0.000332, 0.000331, 0.000331, 0.000332, 0.000333, 0.000335, 0.000338, 0.000343, 0.000349, 0.000357, 0.000367, 0.00038, 0.000396, 0.000417, 0.000443, 0.000475, 0.000514, 0.000561, 0.000619, 0.000689, 0.000774, 0.000876, 0.000997, 0.001142, 0.001315, 0.001519, 0.001761, 0.002045, 0.002379, 0.002771, 0.003228, 0.003759, 0.004376, 0.00509, 0.005914, 0.006861, 0.007947, 0.009189, 0.010604, 0.012211, 0.014032, 0.016088, 0.018402, 0.020998, 0.023901, 0.027137, 0.030732, 0.034713, 0.039105, 0.043935, 0.049227, 0.055006, 0.061292, 0.068106, 0.075464, 0.083379, 0.091862, 0.100917, 0.110544, 0.120739, 0.131492, 0.142786, 0.154599, 0.166903, 0.179664, 0.192841, 0.206389, 0.220257, 0.234389, 0.248727, 0.263206, 0.277762, 0.292327, 0.306832, 0.321209, 0.335389, 0.349305, 0.362893, 0.376091, 0.388838, 0.401079, 0.412763, 0.423842, 0.434272, 0.444014, 0.453033, 0.461297, 0.46878, 0.475459, 0.481313, 0.486326, 0.490484, 0.493776, 0.496194, 1, 1)
How do you generalise that to a 2-D array, please? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Dimension the array as 100x100 and then loop through 2 nested loops 1-100 referencing the area on the sheet with the data in it as a range.I think....0

That's what I do now, but it doesn't store the data in/with the VBA code. Sorry if I am not being clear. Ideally, I want to make this self-contained, without any data in the spreadsheet itself. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
