I know the auction you mean. That'd be a convenient one for many NPs I suppose.

    Very convenient for some!

If anyone does venture to that area (for car buying or any other purposes) and fancies a meet up, let me know :)

OH has just bought a new car - well nearly new, ex-demo from the main dealer, part-ex his at the same time. Meant to be straight forward, but transferring the number plate is proving a hassle.

Gardening.......gosh....I remember one of the reasons we bought the house now.

We ( um, well, dh) have started mulching our flower beds for autumn. Despite having a fraction of the garden we want its feeling like a big task this year. I even considered having the digger man move some for us into piles in the relevant bits of garden. DH moved, we think, about three quarters of a tonne. It might have been more, but it was a light day....because its a slow start, he was also doing other stuff. Its going to take WEEKS to do it all.

One of the questions we had to answer for panning was what we planned to do with the animal waste from here and produce a disposal plan. Actually, we're using it all, and could use three times as much, I don't think its ever going to be a problem, the amount of poop we get tbh. Its just collecting it and moving it that gets boring!

Its been grey here, we've not been able to gauge what time it was all day, its looked like five pm all day. Still got to get stuff done though. Just some light spitting here. I had the mutability lawn mower and it was dry enough to weed from a blanket on the lawn.

Aching now, Wish we had a bath:(. Time to they the arm of the sofa again..:D

Sunshine in Kent, and even warmer tomorrow. Is the sun just shining on the righteous? ;)

We have two friends on facebook that have passed away. The nice thing is that people still talk to them; It comes up on my feed when one friend posts on another friend's wall.

It is bittersweet but I wouldn't be without it. It's carthartic.

I first read that as one dead friend posts on the other dead friend's FB wall and my thought (for a split second) was, is facebook really that powerful?

    Then I re-read.

FWIW I think it is nice to hear about other's achievements and holidays and how they are proud of their kids. I don't think they are posting to show off. Maybe I am trying to be too nice.

If it were good to read about other people's lovely days we'd all be posting photos of meals to starving Africans...... to cheer them up.
