No, I think you were right. I feel refreshed. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I read them all as a child, and they were brilliant.
Yes.. But later.
I saw an advert yesterday for a film of the mortal instruments, so am reading the first one of those this afternoon.0 -

That's interesting. Who drew up the will?Silver, thinking about the wording of the will, I think it's confusing because I don't think it does what it says it does. That's why I asked who drew it up.
I think what you have is a bare trust. Even if the children are not supposed to have the capital until age 25, as sole beneficiary and over age 18 they can require the trust to be broken.
I would be very inclined to hand it over to them and tell them to stick it in a stocks and shares ISA until they want to buy a house. Point out that they can't spend it twice.
Alternatively, invest it on their behalf and don't tell them about it.
Parents' solicitor drew it up, he is also one of the executors.
Given the right people will get the right money eventually under this one, I'm inclined to let it be.
I wouldn't want to hand it over to them because that goes against the express wishes in the will, even if the wording is dodgy.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have a theory that the more you wash, the more you need to wash. A bit like hair getting greasier if you wash it too much.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. How about putting it in premium bonds? Then there's no issue with interest.
You could also put the premium bond certificates (or details of whereever the money is invested) in an envelope with a copy of the will, copy of the letter from the executors, and a document signed by you setting out that this money is held by you in trust for DS1 and DS2 under the will of John Smith, so there's no doubt later on....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

OH and I went a fortnight without washing at all when we were in the Gobi desert - no water to spare, you see. We certainly didn't not-need-washing after that.....
Next place we were in after that was a very, very cold Siberian lake, part of the rift that makes up Lake Baikal in Russia. We swam in that and used our totally-eco-friendly soap, and it was lovely to be clean. OH did claim it had changed his gender, though....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

So that's once a week for a quick food run ....although I actually shower about 3x a week.
Oh goodness, I clean for me.
I think I have been clear on my love of ritualistic, meditative, soul restoring bathing.
Very, very much looking forward to the new bathroom being finished.0 -
