I have a friend who solved that problem easily enough :D:p
She's got a lovely boy (18 months now)

In few years, if a plan is still required, I wouldn't rule out other options.

Edit - and if life is seems like it is appropriately settled

At what age do biological clocks start ticking loudly?

We just thought that we should start thinking about kids when we had been married a few years. I don't recall listening for anything ticking, it was more the next thing on the list.

Having only ever wanted 2, it seemed sensible to spread them out a bit.

It varies depending on how many children somebody wants, how old their friends and family members were when they had theirs, and what else they want to fit into their life before getting tied down. How old were you when you got married?
24/26. Female Fertility depletes considerably at 27 doesn't it? I'm out of the loop. I know before my world imploded I wanted my one or two at between 26 and 32.

Mine started ticking as a count-down to 30. I was married, but needed to convince him to have some because he didn't want any. Actually had babies (with his consent) when I was 31 and 34.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

My friend's GP told her that at 30 she should be getting a move on in her annual check up for The Pill (she was (still is) in a relationship, but a complicated one that isn't what I would think would be ideal for child-rearing, and also trying to get established in a career etc)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have sometimes wondered if my health problems (and others that seem on the increase and of unidentified cause) might be partly down to being old eggs. On absolutely no basis other than I think I'd have been better meringue than mousse.

    I'll like it later. :) I think I knew that's what your stuff was about didn't I?

I'll 'like' it too if you fancy giving me the link.....you might get bored of my stuff though, most of it promotes my website.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Nope they "signed" them all with Helena Handcart, 123 Fake Street or whatever. As they were primary school it was "printed" rather than written in cursive.
