    I've been Money Tipped!
Tomorrow I have an almost 'normal' persons schedule, as if i have actual stamina. Appts booked for 8:50 am, 10 am, 11:30 am ( to run through the afternoon). some one proposed a four pm one last evening. Do I risk it? Before a busy weekend? ( I will of course have critters to do before that, after that and house work to panic over ...).

The me who hates wimps says of course you do you whiney wuss, ( DH is here too) the me who is wondering if I will be awake at 2 pm is wondering if its fair on mr four o clock. Cannot sleep anyway, doozer boy is here tomorrow. Hmm, I suppose its a yes.

Also, there is a smudge of mud on my kitchen door that's been there for a year ( its too low for me to get' I'm not meant to bend over) can some one yell at me tomorrow to get DH to get it please? No one cleans wood work if I don't :(

and you didn't offer him a lift?

Lift all the way to King's Cross! Then, a £12 train ticket, and a taxi at the other end.

If I drive him all the way to Edinburgh, it's a 900 mile round trip, plus a hotel overnight. That's at least £300, plus two days of my life spent driving. I can show my love in better ways.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Not really. Saw some from afar, but not to bump into.

Plus a large proportion of the blokes seemed to be wearing leggings for much of the weekend, which was rather disconcerting.

mmmmm:)..... Meggings. Will hold that as thought for the day. Wonder if Chewy wears them?

Does that mean the congestion charge price was nearly the same as the cost of travelling 450 miles by train? How far ina dvance did you have to buy that ticket?

OH drove DS2 to Manchester and back. (Well Luton to M/C and M/C home - I had the simple (!) task of supervising the loading the car and the unexpected task of getting a head light bulb replaced, before driving the car to Luton).

OH then got to have dinner with his parents a win, win - brownie points for him at the same time as helping DS2.

Essential items included a set of weights, TV, PS3, suitcase full of clothes, a box full of shoes, 2 boxes of books, complete set of bedding.......so a train trip would have been tricky.

I offered to go with and share the driving, but I have a trip to Wales planned for today into tomorrow, so was excused.

Starting at Stevenage is usually an option for alternative costings.

    Hello Doozer,

It is good to 'see you'. How are you and the Doozer family and dogs?

Hello Spirit :) We are okay, thank you. My cousin lives with us too now; my house is very full and impossible to keep clean.

Doozer!!!! Good to see you...but where were you in my hour of planning need?!

Can I have the condensed version? I have planning woes as well. I am now very geared up on the rather large permitted development loopholes that exist and mean you can get allsorts of oddities approved. As far as new dwellings go, my hit rate is officially 0% at present!

Only time I have worn leggings is for layering when snowboarding and after a day of snowboarding they tend to look all saggy and lose at various ugly places - not a look I would want to share with others....
    I think....

I just checked. It was £19.45, not £12. Sorry to get people excited. Booked 7 July for travel on 10 September. That was 1/3rd off, as he has a railcard.

Oh, and I didn't enter the congestion charge zone, coming from the North, and not crossing the Euston Road. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
