Regarding weird questions at interviews, I'd recommend this book by an author , William Poundstone, who really impressed me with another book years ago. :beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

There was a wonderfully clear rainbow here this morning. There was even a very faint secondary bow - only the second time in my life that I have seen one of those! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

How lovely..
Its beautiful here. we planned painting insidethis morning but the weather is clear as a bell, it would be too much of a shame. Cool, certainly, (well, actually, I'm pretty cold...)
I love our seasons, I really love them, They are exquisitely beautiful.0 -
It's rained here all morning, and all last night. Now it's wet, overcast, cold.
Saw on the news that Falmouth had had a freak hail storm, laying like thick snow.

Sorry but why is this thread here in the debate house prices section? It's a nice thread but shouldn't this be in the general discussion section or something?0

Apology accepted.:)
Its here because we are debate forum regular contributors or readers who leave weapons at the door of this thread of what has been at times a heated board and we speak nicely to each other instead of arguing. Makes things more human, less heated.other boards have a social or daily thread, not just the debate one.its not out of step with the rest of Mse.

LIR I saw the weather this morning and they showed temps getting down to 3 degrees in your neck of the woods - I am worried about your boiler situationI think....0

As it was raining, I spent yesterday (or, at least what was left after I felt well enough to face the world) tidying up. I would say decluttering, but that wouldn't quite be true as very little stuff has departed this house ... the loft is somewhat fuller though
It does make the mind feel easier if I can actually sit down on a sofa without having to clear a space first, or walk into a room without having to tiptoe a route through ... but finding the energy to keep it that way is sometimes too much.
Occasionally the urge to do something about it grabs me, and fortunately the weather facilitated that urge yesterday
Should be sorting the freezer out (it is not a Tardis freezer, regrettably) for the oodles of brambles, courgettes  , sweetcorn and other stuff from the allotment - but moving my backside off the sofa is too challenging :rotfl:0
