I still feel really well, but have woken with another blepharitis in the left eye. Extra glad my splurge didn't extend to the seventy pound mascara now! (I do wash my eyes, btw,....its because of the rosacea, the 'whites ' of my eyes are a wonderful horror film red too, brings out the colour of my eyes I say :). '. I've left eye make up off and done my eyebrows very lightly. Days like these is why fir says no semi permanent make up.......so I don't get that sort of older woman in Florida all eyebrows look.

Threatening rain.....so not going to paint outside until we know whether its going to pass over or not...

While I take all flattery, your method worked so much better than mine. And you are equally capable of both, so your choice was also superior!

    .

Meh, anyone can do the latter, but you are very good for my ego. I always knew I liked you, lol.

I am staying in St James area and will leave OH to enjoy a dinner at the hotel whilst I am available to go out on the razzle/intellectual pursuits.

i am on the razzle the next day so could have met up then. can you get him to change it to 7/9?

I haven't yet cancelled my Zoopla new listings alert (tempting fate and all that). I think this belongs on the 'have a look at this' thread on the house buying board:

Pic 4 made me chuckle - they're obviously keen on a splash free toilet (which I am too, but I wouldn't put signs up). No wonder though as there looks like a bit of a hygiene hazard... (never seen one of those before, will feel super mean if its a health problem-related item)

Isn't that a loo seat for a child?

Oh - maybe. I guess the my little ponies etc on the cistern should have been a hint! (Spot the person who doesn't have much knowledge of small children)

Still - would you not tidy things like that away before having the house photographed?

Maybe it is a rental. SIL put similar signage up when nephews were v young. I think it was a hot button in a house where she was only female.

They didn't tidy the rest of the house!

Not that this is likely to be an imminent issue for me, but does anti-splash signage actually change behaviour? or does it just make you feel better as you can feel like you're constantly reminding?

The "please leave this toilet as you would wish to find it" signs at work don't appear to change behaviour. Alternatively people wish to find toilets in a horrendous state.
