Ah, no.its surprising your status isn't considered. I don't think anyone asked the boss what he wanted once when they were talking to me about babies, it was assumed I would make the decisions I guess. Presumably men could theoretically have kids all over the show and not move named on birth certs.

Could you not claim that you wanted to have children by some other random man (or woman) who doesn't have children?!
Edit: However you, DH and FIR/LIR might have to go on Jeremy Kyle afterwards
    I think....

Missk, I only pY the cost of the medication on a private script.....so when I was trying metformin in for PCOS for example, was much cheaper than if I had been on NHS.

Just checking that you know about pre-payment certificates for NHS prescriptions? You pay once for the year - about £100 - and that covers all your meds for the year.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

sorry, if it's regarding that, DO NOT do that. Most PCTs won't let you rejoin the NHS list if you have self funded a private one before. You lose your free NHS place. Guessing where chewy is the rules are quite strict

Thank you kindly for this, I will have a read.

I'm sure the NHS will find a way of not paying anyway. Probably too old, earn too much or voted incorrectly.

Hopefully they won't have to and it will be something simply resolved long before big buck issues. :)

Too right. The last thing I want to do is spend our holidays to the Maldives budget on something which isn't a holiday and doesn't involve the Maldives!

Me too! Although in fact I had to drop DD off somewhere at 10:00 and pick her back up at 1:00, so I couldn't realistically have come.

Am trying to chase up replies for DD's birthday party on Tuesday. Some replies are on my old phone (which now belongs to DD but she's let it run out of battery and then lost it somewhere in the house). Some were on the first incarnation of my new phone (which died and had to be replaced after a week). To cap it all, DD has lost the list of people that she invited, so I'm not exactly sure whose replies to chase up. Oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out somehow.
In the olden days mums would buy a pack of party invites and we'd write them out and take them to school, they'd then return a tear off section at the bottom.

Mind you, I had myy last birthday party aged about 10 - and there'd have been about 4-6 neighbours' kids and the school was 800 yards away.... so not much chance of getting it wrong/lost.

If she sent a bottle of this it would definitely go on eBay!

(PN make sure you are sitting down before following the link)
That's actually obscene. Not that such products can exist, but that they're sold on (some) High Streets..... as if it's "normal" to buy/spend that!

It makes everybody think they should be affording it ... and out comes the plastic without them thinking about it.
