.....oh yes I see it on the close ups....I probably would have got rid of the budgies too.

When I get a mo, I will go back on google + try to find the wallpaper digital printing place as it was really reasonable and you can custom your print. Say you find a tree shadow you like from Shuttershock, they can change the background or tree colours to the ones you would prefer.

You pay to download the image (you probably need a very high res one as you will be enlarging) and send it to your printer...and Voila!, you have custom wallpaper

The first proper chapter of the thesis. Where I waffle on around the general subject, introducing it and showing how clearly important the guff in the following chapters is going to be...

The thought of online dating is gently terrifying at the moment. I'll try getting out and about a bit more first, when I've got the Big Things out of the way

They were.

Urgent call to help mum. A journey of 155 miles, extended to 161 by taking M40 to avoid M25 bottle neck took 3 hrs 39 minutes. Best time is 2 hrs 24 minutes, generally considered good if I do it in under 2 hrs 35mins.

I figured that if I left hone before 3 the traffic wouldn't be busy yet. I was wrong.

But at least that's a LOT less stressful than the calls I was getting from the lifeline service saying she'd had a fall so could I go and have a look. The Lifeline system asks for two contact numbers - and when the owner of the button presses it for assistance, if it's not urgent/immediate (e.g. home invasion or heart attack requiring an ambulance) they contact the contacts to go out and deal with/assess the situation and needs further.

She is OK.

Needed a procedure doing and got a cancellation to have it done immediately, but wasn't going to do it unless someone (someone generally = me) was there to nurse.
