I thought that, and TCX3317 is Palma to Glasgow!

I would be annoyed if we had booked a non-stop flight and ended up with a stop if the non-stop flight had a higher cost than other options available at the time of booking...I don't know if that applies to this situation, but if the price of the flights booked was higher and that was accepted on the basis of the benefit of a non-stop flight then I could see why someone might not be happy with a surprise stop.

If you don't get off the plane when they stop to let other passengers on it IS classed as a non-stop flight.

If they had landed at Gatwick, were made to de-plane and then board another plane, fair enough, but getting upset because they had to sit on a plane while more passengers got on? Really?

Hmmm...I thought direct didn't necessarily mean non-stop...but non-stop meant...well, non-stop..my point was that if I chose an option which took off from one airport and landed at another without setting down anywhere else and I paid more than an alternate flight that originally was scheduled to stop at another airport then I would be annoyed...it's not a 5 minute thing to land, board new passngers, and take off again.

If you are an unhappy flier who hates take-off and landing (e.g. the sensation, the ear-ache) then I guess you could be unhappy to find out that your non-stop flight (that you chose specifically for that reason) has turned into a direct flight with an additional landing & take-off.

The best bits are the take off and landing.

I just love that shove in the back on take off. :p

The flight number was 3613, and according to flightstats it actually arrived early!

So mandi, exactly what advice would you like? What remedy would you like for an early arrival?

I guess it got from Dalaman to Gatwick quicker because it was lighter :D
