That work experience lad was wise not to choose the industry.
Would any woman buy from him with his approach of 'hello gorgeous'?
 I think they'd report him.0

But also got wound up by the couple buying in finance. I kind of felt sorry for them as it didn't appear to me that they had any idea of what they'd ended up paying. Maybe it's just me but there's no way i would sign up for any deal without having it in black and white and taking some time away to go and look at it, there must have been a coffe shop somewhere near by to just take a minute to look the figures over and ask if that's what you want to pay.
Also the discounts people were after seem mad. If the car is over priced I'd never go near the place to haggle in the first place. In this Internet age it's not that hard to compare and see what you should be paying for a comparable car and also to work out roughly what your part ex should be. Using this as a starter you should then know what you want to spend and see if you are in the right region. I really couldn't be bothered with all the hassle to find out its not affordable or my prices are way out, or I'm going to be paying for 5 years to buy a second hand car that will cost me a bomb to keep on the road for that time. Always amazed that people wander in to dealerships like those last night, and as for that girl with the mini, if I were her dad and I really believed it was over priced I'd have just taken her to the next dealership....there's no way I'd have put up with even half of that emotional blackmail from the smary git0

Ahhh, so you're one of those people that 'count' interest in how much you paid for a car? I've never understood that, but anyways.
It's always going to cost more to borrow money for 12 months longer - the people must have been putting in some amount of deposit (I think £500 was mentioned) as the payments don't stack up otherwise. Quite often the rate goes up when you exceed 48 months too.
An additional saving of just £245 is never going to cancel an extra year out, if that makes sense.
why would you not count the interest in its part of the total price...hence the numpty who wanted the range rover was shocked to find out he owed £18500 ish on his quashi after a year or so...because he bought it over 60 months0

I had imagined a hardened car dealer would be able to look a punter up and down and tell within 15 seconds that Range Rover man wasn't a serious buyer.0
