Hi Aesop, thank you for running this thread and thank you everyone for the inspiration. I've been away on a very challenging but rewarding experience and now I'm back I'm possibly more committed than I was to making what I can. I do recognise though that the high totals of the last 2 months will be out of reach!

Please can I join in this month with a £5 a day target? I have £30 of nectar points which will go towards grocery shopping and £9.43 in interest to add.

I need to sort car insurance and get a new washing machine so will be checking out TCB to see if this is worthwhile.

    Good luck all xx

Hi All Been doing a bit of homework on the bay and the winter stuff has started to sell well .Boots are mostly making good money, winter shoes and also jackets and coats :D
So maybe a good idea if we have anything like that waiting to list.Go for it now as we will also beat the % on postage if we sell before the 4th Sept.
I am going to list some boots on auction later starting at a pretty high start price as don't want to sell them for peanuts :(And just incase my homework revision has been wrong :rotfl:
Good luck to all (off to buy some stock in a min yes you guessed it the local bootsale)

Listed some items on eBay. Judging by the other listings I'm hoping for around £30 from them. Also listed some stuff on Facebook.

Will post my gold off tomorrow.

The car that has just been insured and taxed is proving a nightmare. May just sell for spares/repairs.

Got a few more things to list on eBay. Just need the motivation.

ETA: just got a £10 facebook sale :)

Hi all - hope you had a lovely weekend :)

Just a couple of bits to add, finally spent some of my PC vouchers, treated the OH as he passed one of his accounting exams so we went to Mr T's and got the posh meal deal so that was £11 saved

Also tried out FieldAgent on the iphone which was easy and quick. Requested cashback yesterday so should be in there within end of the week which is when I will add it. Looking out for a few more in my area now as there is no outlay.

Mr T's delivery saver still going for a couple more weeks (when I will probably swap to Asda) so saved £6 + £1.20 in loyalty tokens.

Hopefully off to the cinema tonight in which case will add the savings tomorrow from our Mr T clubcard vouchers.

Few bits finishing on eBay, not massive money makers but craft bits I have cluttering so good to get rid. Will also bank those tomorrow.

    Happy saving all :)

Also, I posted on here a month or so ago that GTM had made contact saying I'd won one of their sweepstakes of $300.00 I contacted them but was still a bit dubious.

I haven't received the cheque yet but my name and location is now featuring on the official list on the GTM website :D:D they think the cheque will be with me by 1st Sept so YEY never won anything before and has given me the motivation to start comping again. That will really help dent my debt (and I may just treat myself to something small too)

Ive been a comper for years and normally get a steady trickle of wins... you do need do more than a couple a day though... at my peak I was doing at least 50 plus a day... however even a single entry gives you a chance of a win...

However it really is a numbers game and you need to enter a lot consistently to really reap the rewards... particularly due to the sheer number of people that enter these days.

Have you tried swift prizes? I think its a new site I saw it on facebook a bit and checked it out. Daily wins and some decent prizes on there
